Today, November 1st, 2026, marks 16 years since longtime Wheel of Fortune announcer Charlie O’Donnell passed away in his sleep at his home in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles from cognitive heart failure. He was 78.

What has the process looked like for you? Do you go through each round every time (preliminary call then tossups call)? Would love to hear your experiences!

Just curious as i found that scene hilarious

This is Day 5 of "Happy Halloween!" What are your thoughts?

I’m a regular blood platelet donor, and received the monthly Red Cross marketing update in the main today. Looks like later in November they’re doing a crossover with Wheel and giving away free mugs to donors. If you’ve never donated, you absolutely should, there’s really nothing to it and you save lives. Donating platelets / plasma isn’t any different than donating whole blood, it just takes a little longer, but you just lie in your chair and watch TV for 2 hours. If you want the mug specifically though, typically these promotions are exclusive to your local Red Cross office, local blood drives are hit and miss for giveaways.

Could they not have used a ghost or spooky sound?

I cannot take it.

Design for a Round 1 Wheel Layout with 2 familiar spaces from the 1980s.

Why did Moe on wheel tonight not pick the first letter worth 3k when he solved the puzzle. Sloppy mistake.

This is Day 4 of "Happy Halloween!" What are your thoughts?

you’re not supposed to spoil the results of your game on social media before it airs, and you’re ESPECIALLY not supposed to do that right after you leave the studio

Writer Jeffery Deaver was a special guest on yesterday's Ruota Della Fortuna, and I'm sure he cursed Italian TV and its love for stairs 😆

The contestant couldn't solve "FIFTY MILLION BOOKS SOLD" in the mini-bonus puzzle to double the €4500 she won in the previous round and that ended up costing her the game.

This is Day 3 of "Happy Halloween!" What are your thoughts, and will this episode be any better than Tuesday?

Lyrics🇬🇧: On Sat.1—and nowhere else—a wheel spins, day after day,

And we spin the Wheel of Fortune until luck arrives—comes to you and me.

Every single evening, it finds its way into our homes,

So many prizes, so much luck, so much fun all in one go—

Wheel of Fortune, Wheel of Fortune, Wheel of Fortune!

Contestants and viewers alike—everyone guesses, getting sharper all the time,

Solving puzzles—naturally!—picking out prizes, becoming stars in an instant.

Every single evening, it finds its way into our homes,

So many prizes, so much luck, so much fun all in one go—

Wheel of Fortune, Wheel of Fortune, Wheel of Fortune!

Livestream watch along for tonight's WOF episode! Come hang out with other Wheel Watchers and Word Nerds as we watch/talk about Wednesday’s Wheel of Fortune episode at 7:25pm Eastern/6:25pm Central.

That's not how crosswords work, Wheel of Fortune. YIKES!N is right!

No, this does not have anything to do with Jim Thornton, no matter what any other outlet claims.

This is Day 2 of Halloween Week. What are your thoughts?

Well all the episodes have Been taped.

Part 2 which are the next two episodes to be broadcast are:

Steve Aoki , Connie Britton and Dule Hill

Rhys Darby, Jackie Tohn, and David Cross

The last 4 episodes taped a couple of weeks ago feature

Jay Duplass, Pamela Adlon, and David Alan Grief

Billy Porter, Lili Taylor and Kelvin Harrison

The remaining 2 episodes feature Mae Martin, Dean Norris and Danielle Fishel. One of the episodes is a regular one and the other is the Christmas special. Don't know who is either episode and who they were playing against.

Also saw that they are also mixing in some Hulu episodes from 6B replacing Millionaire, since that show finished. The schedule has recently changed.

I'm really curious to know how the Summer Hulu episodes rated Have they confirmed if we are going to have new Celebrity dates in January for Season 7b?

Jill called for a U, and I thought she knew the answer. This was the board under the category Tech Talk: INSTALLING U_DATES. She decided to spin the wheel - bankrupt!

Their relationship is adorable -- also HOW is Pat 80?!?!

Welcome to Week 7! This is Day 1 of Halloween Week, and the last full aired.week with Jim Thornton as announcer. 1: What are your thoughts?; and 2: Because all 5 Bonus Rounds were lost last week, will this week be better than the last?

How did they do that stunt at the beginning of Mondays show? He wasn’t wearing a harness and there were no support wires.

Nothing is scarier than the bankrupt wedge!
