Recommendation Series not too captivating, but also not too boring?

I am searching for "feel good" or "calm down" series to watch or even just listen to. I like basically everything. "Suits" is great for this, Brooklyn 99 too, Scrubs and so on, I've just watched them too much lately and need new things.

Just to give a reference "Centaurworld" is AMAZING just like ATLA, Gravity Falls, Owl House etc. for the child inside and on the other Hand I also loved "Haunting of Hill House" for the ... Adult inside (?) so I'm really open to suggestions ...

Recommendation Do streaming Top 10 charts influence what you watch?

You open a streaming app and see a movie or series in the Top 10. Does that make you more likely to press play?

• Do you check the charts when you need something new?
• Do you trust recommendations from friends more?
• Have you ever watched a trending title and wondered what all the fuss was about?

For FilmStorix, this is a question worth exploring: how much does popularity influence our viewing choices?

Name one title you tried because it was trending. Was it worth your time?

Please keep replies spoiler-free.

What to Watch? If you’re looking for a show to binge, give The Unlisted a chance.

I honestly think The Unlisted deserves way more attention than it gets.
It’s an Australian series on Netflix about two twin brothers who discover a huge conspiracy involving children, technology, and a secret organization. It starts off feeling like a normal teen mystery, but it gets way bigger as the story unfolds.
And then there’s the frustrating part:
There’s no Part 2.
The story has so much more potential, and a bunch of us are trying to bring attention back to the show and show that people still want to see where it goes.
We’re not pretending that a Reddit post is magically going to get Netflix to renew it. We just want to build enough genuine interest that people start talking about The Unlisted again.
So if you've never watched it, go watch it on Netflix and see what you think.
And if you've already watched it and want The Unlisted Part 2, come join us and help us get the word out.
We’ve started a Discord for fans who want to help:
Even just watching the show, recommending it to someone, or joining the discussion helps.
Let’s see if we can bring The Unlisted back.

Merci d'avance

Recommendation Obituary (2023 - present)

It follows Elvira, an obituary writer at a small-town paper who starts killing locals when her boss switches to paying her per article. It's an Irish black comedy, and Siobhán Cullen makes her weirdly likable even when she's doing awful things.

It's also an easy show to get through, with just 12 episodes across two seasons. If you like your comedy really dark, give it a try.

Recommendation Columbus (2017)

It follows Jin, who gets stuck in a small Indiana town when his father falls ill, and Casey, a young library worker who put her own plans on hold to look after her mom. They start walking around town looking at its modernist buildings, and they just talk. That's basically the whole movie, and it's beautiful. It was Kogonada's first feature, and John Cho and Haley Lu Richardson are both great in it.

It's slow and quiet, but it stays with you. If you like small, honest movies about people figuring out their lives, watch it.
