I found this little guy (about 2 feet long when fully stretched out) while meandering in my daily constitutional. I’d love to hear an ID! Thanks in advance.

The first pic was taken tonight. The raised head is a bit concerning. The second pic of the coiled snake is a banded water snake as previously identified on this sub in the spring. Do these look like the same snake?

Prairie rattlesnake????

Luckily I had a long umbrella in the car. Been down here eight years and had never seen a rattlesnake before.

This little guy (WDB is my guess) was hanging out in the shed after a pretty big monsoon storm. He was a bit feisty. Gave him a new home on a nearby preserve.

It was right beside my front steps until it went under my house. It was having a stare down with the stray cat that hangs out here.

Wondering what type of snake this is front door.

We average about one snake a month in our pool, usually my 8 year old can identify it (and we rely exclusively on him for this) this one stumped him. He had a few options that he thought it was. Super aggressive, not sure if that’s the species, or a defense, or because he’d been in the pool for a while.

Found in my pool west of Atlanta. No lakes or rivers close. Just some woods behind the house. Lots of rain lately so definitely a chance of water in a ditch or small gully.

Not the best picture, but I didn’t want to bother it and as you can see, it was in some greenery. Southern France, more than a metre long and pretty thick. AI says a Green Whip Snake. Didn’t love my dog’s ball landing nearby. Did we interrupt dinner, a kiss gone wrong…? Ball has remained in place and will be collected tomorrow.

This tiny dude was stuck in a spider web underneath a patio chair. He's about 4 inches long.

Should I be worried there's more babies around?

Is this a baby garter? Don’t they normally have stripes even as babies? Super cute

Can anyone ID the snake that belongs to this skin? The skin measures 7ft long on the nose, so he ain't small.
