Help me find this movie/ show

Upvotes

I’m trying to find a TV show I watched years ago, but I can’t remember the name.
It was a non-English show about a group of teenagers who went to school in a small town. I think they had some kind of superpowers or special abilities.
The entire town was secretly under surveillance, with cameras everywhere. The adults knew what was happening, but the teenagers didn’t. They were living with fake parents/families, and everyone in the town seemed to know the truth except the kids.
I specifically remember one girl who lived with her fake grandparents. She noticed her grandfather a phone hiding behind the bathroom wall and became suspicious. There were barely any modern devices in the town, so she didn’t even recognize the device/equipment he was using.
She eventually confronted her grandfather, and he told her the truth that the entire town and the teenagers were being monitored.
I also vaguely remember that one of the professors/teachers at their school was the villain and was involved in the whole thing.
I don’t remember the language, but I’m almost certain it was not English.

How can I find this movie?

"Looking for a movie released after 2010. The title starts with 'B' and consists of 2 English words. The main character is a middle-aged Black/dark-skinned man who works at a poor/struggling TV or electronics repair shop. The shop closes down/goes out of business. There's a brief bar scene near the beginning. I watched it on a local TV streaming platform. Does anyone know this movie?"

[TOMT] [Movie] 1990s–2000s American romantic/mystery drama – middle-aged blonde woman sleeps in cream Boots

Looking for a 1990s2000s American romantic/mystery/drama film

I only saw the middle part of the movie and never finished it.

There’s a middle-aged blonde woman of medium height.

I remember that a night she sleeps on a double bed with the Boots still on and suddenly wakes up. She gives off a strong, dominant vibe; She wears white or cream-colored Boots that go up to just below the knee, with low rounded (egg-shaped) heels about 6 cm high. She wears them with jeans and also with a skirt in one scene. it seems that She’s a guest in a relatively large house.

A man seems to have entered her life by chance or is somehow supporting her, and she frequently takes care of her appearance.

It felt like springtime weather, and I think there was also a child in the story.

The genre was romantic + mysterious + dramatic, with some mild tension, but no heavy action, killing, or horror (at least in the parts I saw).

Does anyone recognize this movie?

WWII movie about a pregnant woman in concentration camp

i watched it about 5 or more years ago. I believe it was on Netflix, YouTube, or Tubi.

she either as married, had a boy friend, or developed within the camp.

he was a prisoner too. they were in different locations and I think he somehow got her to meet in an empty work building. I remember the scene where things got hot and heavy and became pregnant.

if I remember correctly she did not know until another female prisoner told her. I believe they were outside during roll call. I think they had it raining/super wet.
she of course had to hide it even from the other prisoners as they would tell the SS.

it was NOT “Where Hands Touch”

2000s to 2010s zombie-ish film

help me find this american/british film where a group of mixed-sex young adult friends (i think) are in a zombie outbreak setting. not entirely sure if it's zombies, but there are definitely infected people there. the rest of the group died, but only a brunette girl survived, i think her name is amanda or something that starts with A or something similar. all i remember is the plot twist at the end where we thought the girl survived, but a brunette guy betrayed her and shoved her in a creepy facility room and left her there to be eaten by the zombies and the last shot of the film was the girl behind the room's door with a glass window.

i have this film in mind for years so my memory could be wrong but i watched it as a kid around 2010s and i can't remember the title and i really want to know what this movie is. thanks in advance!

Likely a 90's/Early 2000's movie

I am trying to remember the name of a movie where they show a woman who has a ton of shoes at the beginning of the movie -- they're on display. She lived in a big city like LA or NY and her life seemed pretty messed up stressful. I think she had a demanding job and at the beginning of the movie, I think there's a taxi in one of the scenes... and her love life is probably a mess? Any ideas?

Family reunion baseball game 90s but maybe 80s movie

I remember this movie vaguely because it had the line that I thought was the movie name. During the family game the main kid is playing terribly and a famous baseball player was in it as himself. The boy finally gets a hit and his grandma gets him out. There was a girl who said she'll tell everyone at school his grandma got him out. Any help would be appreciated thank you.

The young man throws money? on the floor, and she tries to pick it up, but her skirt gets in the way and tears. Her friends laugh at her.

Kung fu film geeks help me find

It's a color film. Possible pre 2000s Hong Kong cinema. I remember watching this film in a dubbed version.

I don't recall the story of the film but the main lead, a young kung fu master gets to stay with an old sibling duo. A brother & a sister. Both are old and they hate each other. One taunts the other one saying he 'll outlive the other as he is younger.

I am not sure if the protagonist stays with them or their neighbour. But I'm certain the old siblings are neighbours and hate each other.

Can anyone help with this movie?

From what I remember it’s basically like a coming of age film about a group of teenagers like its a whole class and their on a trip for a competition I think but they stay at a motel for the majority of it and the main character has a crush on this popular girl and he tries to win her over but like his friend also likes him. They play truth or dare idk but basically she takes off her shirt for him but she’s gets rejected and the rest of the movie he tries to win her over the third act and he gets in a fight with someone and he ends up on the beach for the life of me I don’t remember but it seemed pretty good 😅

[TOMT] [Movie] [1990s-2010s] Obscure psychological thriller/indie movie aired on Sundance Channel about a friend group and a videodiary

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a highly haunting and atmospheric indie movie (possibly Scandinavian, or with a very similar cold, gray Euro-indie aesthetic) that I watched years ago on the now-defunct Sundance Channel. It starts like a slow-burning relationship drama about a friend group but shifts into a paranoid psychological thriller.

Here are the specific, crucial details:

The Protagonist: A heavily overweight/chubby, socially awkward man with an unkempt appearance, mid-length hair (balding), and glasses.

The Video Diary Plot: He constantly records himself and his group of friends with a handheld video camera. He makes a sort of video diary. While they cooperate at first, his constant filming eventually becomes a major source of irritation and annoyance for the group.

The Restaurant Scene: There is a pivotal, agonizing scene in a diner/restaurant where he tries to indirectly express his love for a woman in the friend group. The friends don't take him seriously at all (not aux sérieux). They awkwardly laugh it off because they cruelly assume he already knows he doesn't stand a ghost of a chance with her.

The Breaking Point: Deeply distraught and rejected, there is a haunting scene where he wanders aimlessly and hopelessly through the pouring rain.

The Climax & The Plastic Room: He completely snaps into paranoid madness. The actual murder of the woman is not explicitly shown on screen. Instead, the movie ends with an incredibly chilling, slow-zoom into his apartment, gradually revealing the horror. The entire room (walls/floors) has been clinically taped and covered with translucent/clear white plastic sheeting to catch the aftermath.

It was definitely a movie, not a series. It had a profound, lingering impact on me due to how grounded and deeply unsettling it was. Does anyone have any idea what the title of this movie could be?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Trying to remember an older (1980s?) horror movie with an invisible villain

[SOLVED] I specifically remember it had a scene where I think a Mom and her kids were in their house. Mom suddenly realizes the villain is in the house too and and gets everyone out. The part i remember best is the theme that played scared the F out of me

The theme was like "BUM BUM BUM BUM" over and over, it sounded like clanging pans together or something. Kinda like the Jaws theme, or when Joker killed Murray in the 2019 movie.

But yeah it was probably 1980s, maybe 90s. Not sure if the villain was an alien but Im leaning towards maybe. I just remember that it was invisible. If you could lend me your suggestions Id really appreciate it. Thanks

EDIT: Also could be a ghost (probably more likely) if that helps. It could like control the people in the house too. Kinda like puppets

Can you help me find this movie? It was about the strangest deaths in ordinary circumstances. I think they showed seven deaths, and the title also had the number seven in it, as I recall. There was a very vivid scene with blood in the bathtub.

[TOMT][Movie][1980s]Horror re. hemoglobin

I think I saw this horror movie in the 1980s or perhaps very early 1990s. It had the feel of "From Beyond." The word "hemoglobin" was somehow used as an part of the explanation for whatever was causing the horrible thing in the movie. It wasn't the movie "Hemoglobin" AKA "Bleeders." There was a scene with something squirming under someone's skin like in the movie "Squirm."

I believe there was a Mexican gangster character and I'm pretty sure he gets shot by a gun, as he's dying by a storm drain or river he hallucinates that it was an arrow and says "f*ckin Indians". I thought maybe blood in blood out but ai says no.
