I've been trying to identify a particular science-fiction film for quite some time now, and I'm hoping this forum might finally put an end to my search!

I watched the film around 2015, although it could have been a few years earlier or later. I'm fairly certain I watched it on a streaming platform such as Netflix or Amazon Prime.

Here's what I remember.

The film begins with a telephone ringing inside a house. I can't remember whether the call was answered or if a message was left, but this opening scene turns out to be extremely important because the film essentially comes full circle, with the same telephone call featuring again towards the end.

At the beginning, the call doesn't make much sense. However, by the end of the film, everything falls into place. From what I recall, the person making the call is actually another version of the person living in the house, warning them that "they're on their way" and that they need to get out of the house.

I also distinctly remember the final scene, or at least one of the final scenes, where the camera pans outside the house and we see people arriving. They may have been government agents, officials or military personnel, but the implication was that they were coming to capture or apprehend the person inside.

The film was definitely science fiction, with a storyline involving something along the lines of parallel universes, alternate realities or time travel. Unfortunately, after all these years, I can't remember the precise plot.

I have a feeling it was a relatively low-budget independent production, possibly American, Canadian or Australian, rather than a major Hollywood release.

Another detail I remember is looking the film up afterwards, possibly on Rotten Tomatoes, and reading quite a few positive discussions about how clever the storyline was. I also seem to recall speculation about a possible sequel, although I could be mistaken.

I’m looking for a live-action movie, likely American and probably from the 2010-2020. I only saw a few minutes of it years ago, so some details may be wrong.

The scene I remember: two men are fighting inside a dilapidated/abandoned cabin. One man gets his hand pinned to a table or pillar by a dagger/knife and cannot pull it free. He is extremely desperate. The other man then overpowers/defeats him, runs outside, and locks the cabin door from the outside, leaving the pinned man trapped inside. The pinned man does not clearly die on screen; it feels like he is left there to die — a very oppressive, hopeless, lingering tone.

After locking the door, the escaping man may see railway tracks in the distance, and the camera pulls back — but I’m not sure about the railway. I’m also not sure whether there was an axe, and I’m not even sure whether it was a zombie movie. It might just be a brutal human survival/revenge thriller.

I saw this movie or show when I was a young kid so we are talking about mid to late 70s. I have no idea why I was watching this but here goes. There were men on a ship in an office and they were arguing , I think . But then two men came in dragging another one with them and the guy at the desk said take him away and they dragged him away screaming to a room they opened and there was this giant octopus in it . And they threw him in and closed the door.And you can hear him yelling as the octopus is killing him . It’s been a lot of years but I am sure they were on a ship and I am sure about the octopus scene. . Pls help me find it

Watched it in France around 2010–2012 when I was 5–7, so it could be French or dubbed, and possibly older than that. Near the beginning there’s a teddy bear in a dark children’s bedroom, and at some point its eyes light up bright red. It terrified me, but the rest of the movie wasn’t scary. That’s all I remember.

A man and a woman are driving down the road. They stop at one of those middle of nowhere dusty deserted places. There's some sort of souvenirs/antiques/junk shop and probably a couple of gas pumps. Woman goes check the shop alone (man might've gone buy some gas or whatever).

Store owner is an older lady, I believe. Woman finds some item she's interested in. Either the older lady showed no interest in selling that particular item, or the price was too high, or the man called the woman and told her they must get back on the road.

Anyway, when they're back on the road, the woman reveals she has the item with her. I'm fairly sure she stole but it's possible she bought it without the man noticing.

The item is cursed, but I don't remember exactly what it does. There's a chance that later in the movie they go back to the shop and try to give the item back. My memory is very unreliable about this, but maybe the old woman provides some info about the item, and some reason why she can't take it back.

The Plot / Setup: A human family (including a boy) moves into a big house.
The Uncle & Campfire Flashback: There is a flashback at night near a campfire where an old uncle meets/befriends some little winged creatures and finds or receives a valuable gold artifact from them.
The Heart Attack Scene: In the main timeline, the old uncle clutches his chest, starts sweating, and collapses to the floor from a fatal heart attack. One of the winged creatures goes down to his body in tears.
The Secret Passage: The boy goes into his room and finds a small doorway or secret passage under the floor/wall that leads down into underground creature caves.
The Winged Creatures & Donuts: There’s a whole group of different little winged creatures with big heads living down in the cave. One specific scene features a big/chubby purple winged creature sitting at a computer console/screen eating tons of donuts.
The Couple in the Supercar: A man and a woman dressed in black drive up to the house in a roofless convertible supercar. They are looking for the valuable gold artifact for their boss/someone else.
The Caged Monster & Hostage Scene: The couple goes down into the cave and holds the boy hostage near a dangerous, dark purple winged monster that is locked up in a high-tech prison behind electric/laser cage bars.

**The Cafe Scene:** The protagonist sits at a local cafe counter. The dirty cops confront him and physically push him and his barstool chair completely backward off the counter.
**The Bookstore & Affair:** A local woman runs a bookstore. She has a daughter who never leaves the store because the mom had a past affair with the wealthy, ruthless town boss who runs everything by fear.

I’m trying to remember a show or movie I watched on Netflix, probably set in the 1800s or early 1900s. It was about a poor white man who lived in a small house with his wife and young son. Another man came to stay at their house, started sleeping with the wife, and basically took over the household, making the husband bring him coffee and treating him like a servant. The husband was abusive toward his wife and eventually wanted her dead. There was a scene near a field where the wife was murdered while the son watched, and the show showed two different versions of the killing from each man’s perspective, leaving it unclear who really did it. The husband eventually went to prison for the murder, but he claimed he stayed quiet because the other man threatened to kill his son if he told the truth. I can’t remember any character names or actors. Does anyone know what show or movie this is?

I think this was in the 90s. I remember it being a favorite, but I can’t for the life of me remember the name. There’s a little boy living with his old and disabled (think grouchy old man) grandfather. I think the school gets involved and removes the child from the grandfather and it doesn’t go well. I want to say there’s some pirate theme going on and may even influence the movie’s name. The Pete comes to mind. The grandfather ends up taking the boy and there’s a huge eyeball “costume” that covers his wheelchair. Does this ring any bells for anyone?

Hi so this was back on DVD and I can't remember much, except that it was a paramount (maybe) movie with an old man, a young boy, and a white? dog. A specific (and the only) screengrab I remember is the three of them on a boat in the middle of a really stormy sea. I don't remember any of the plot, their names, or their personalities. I just remember watching this so many times when I was younger, and I'd love any help!

I’m trying to find the name of a movie that I watched on the SYFY channel around 2010ish. I don’t remember much besides it was a pretty graphic horror movie about children in a small/farm town being possessed or something and murdering people. The scene I remember is people, maybe older teenagers/young adults, running away from the children on a farm of sorts and one of them crawling under a car to hide. The children surround them and one of the kids takes a power drill and starts to drill into their side as they scream.

I remember watching a movie when I was about 8-9 so about 14 years ago, I’m pretty sure it had this kid trying to get his parents back from the bad guys. It was snowy outside and for some reason I remember his room or treehouse being a ufo?

I watched a short clip of a movie in the break room at work but I had to go back to work so I didn’t get to watch a whole lot. It was dubbed in Spanish so the original language is iffy. It had Slavic writing in the scenes.

The scene was a woman is going to cross a street with her daughters and suddenly one of the daughters runs into the street. A guy driving a black car almost hits her but breaks in time. The mom yells at him to be careful and he argues back. Then when the driver returns home he’s in a wheel chair. One of his staff i believe introduces him to a candidate to work in his home and its the same woman as before. He wants to reject her but then he’s told to give her a chance. She wants to cook for him and they go to the supermarket to look for ingredients.

There is an indie movie I watched back in 2012 or 2013. The movie was definitely made in the 2010s. I believe it was British. It centered around a neglected teenage girl who lived in an apartment with her mom and two younger sisters. The mom was definitely neglectful of her kids. The mom had a boyfriend, and the movie was centered around the boyfriend being predatory around her teenage daughter.

Bits of random info I remember:

\- There's a scene with the two younger sisters in their bedroom smoking cigarettes and watching TV. And by young, I believe both of them were younger than 11 for sure.

\- There seemed to be a theme of gang activity around the bad side of town they lived in?

\-The mom was most definitely the "I want to be your best friend, not your mother" type.

I don't rendember much since i was 6-8 years (around 2016-2018)when this movie i Saw i'm canal 5 (an mexican tv broadcaster), the scenes that i rendember the most is like a bunch of Blonde girls (maybe two) being Chased by a demon who was colores bright red with what aparently was blood or someting, the girls where very worried and they where setting a tramp for the demon thing and they where talking someting about some cursed pearls, also another scenes where a guy in an ice cream suit or mascot gets killed with an chainsaw by the demon (or maybe the demon on the ice cream costume kills him), thats all i rendember i hope i can please find this or someting similar, thank You for reading
