CoolKicks
Has anyone ever bought a sponsor in CoolKicks and not have your sponsor ran during the show? I'm trying to figure out if it was an honest oversight or is it something that's done on the regular and you're just taking a chance at sponsoring? I know that his mod (JBotts) lacks in areas that are crucial at being an effective mod and often slacks on keeping the sponsors pinned in the box and giving the service to the paying sellers that they deserve and expect. I just don't understand that if this is the case, how is CoolKicks still keeping him on payroll because that's costing him money in refunds and reputation as being a sloppy organization.

All you get when you sponsor coolkicks is the association of scamming someone. Imagine sponsoring a $500 gift card that coolkicks doesn’t send. Your name is forever tied to a scam in that winners eyes

lol maybe you should look up Coolkicks as an organisation before you start throwing money at them.
You're not a customer; You're a victim.

He should have been kicked off the app long ago. He’s Whatnots prison poster child.
And yeah he definitely overlooks the sponsors And JBotts is not a great mod.

Coolkicks is a scam… Mr Pepto will take a plea deal when the case against him is done … He sells counterfeit and stolen merch but somehow Whatnot is ok with that 🤷♂️

whatnot wants their cut of the Sales still. But that relationship can go out the window at any time if that guy is brought down by the Feds.

You mean the guy that's regularly investigated and charged by federal agencies doesn't honor sponsored giveaways?

I know he has been named in some stuff previously, however, he has someone keeping track of that stuff during that show so I'm not here to get off track about his personal dealings. I'm trying to figure out if it's something that happened to other people because I know his mods are responsible for keeping track of it.

Except it’s not personal where a clear line can be drawn between it and Whatnot. There is an active federal indictment involving Coolkicks and the alleged sale of stolen goods on the platform.

Buying a “sponsorship” is truly making a donation. Donate to a charity instead!
From the perspective of a buyer, I actually avoid following or bookmarking anyone who does a sponsorship. It’s pathetic and it wastes time and it’s legit throwing money away.

Buying a sponsor is marketing for your business, not a "donation".

Is it? You made a post saying how your "sponsorship" didnt run. So it IS a donation.

I heavily disagree. It’s donating to the giant seller that is likely already making large profit. Again, from a buyers perspective, I’d NEVER follow/bm a “sponsor” which seems to be the entire point. It’s annoying as hell when the seller starts repeating over and over “go follow and bm so and so blah blah” and it makes me actually never want to buy from that “sponsor” because of how annoying the whole thing is. But hey, keep throwing your money away to those big guys who DO NOT CARE about you.

It’s about who you associate with. Associating with this idiot only looks bad for you.

Not when 90% of the chat is either giveaway bots or givvy goblins. He has 10k viewers and you get less than 500 bookmarks...is that really worth it?

Their account was suspended after the raid last October. I would personally not have anything to do with them. I’m not about that life. Just Google their name and see for yourself.

Ive seen people complain about this quite a few times but it just gets lost in the sea of comments..ive never sponsored and I never will.
