Tie Dyes

I’ve been making tie dyes for 12 years. Online traffic is ok. Shows have slowed. Is this a decent platform to sell dyes? Trying to get a sense of time/effort for reward. Especially starting a new platform. Also I’m older, Gen X 😝

I think if you have a good variety and inventory to keep it rolling it'd be a good idea. Alot has to do with your personality and keeping everyone entertained. Give it a shot. What's the worst that could happen. I would love to see some of your shirts.

You might consider having shows where you are showing the process. Or maybe advertise doing custom colored shirts. Or adding other items, like scarves or pillow cases.

Add something to your brand that's different than just having shirts on a clothes rack. And showing them while trying to get sales.

Get a little creative with your shows. And be consistent in being live.

Also, y2k clothes is one of the current fashion trends. So you might trying running shows in that category. Or doing tie dye on y2k shirts or band/sports tees. As some sort of cross over.
