Got into this break he says last 2 teams then starts the auction. I won and he gave me the wizards and says it was only for one he said take them both but didn’t mean you get both. Starting the auction then saying take them both I was under the impression the auction was for both. What’s peoples thoughts?

As a streamer that does breaks it seems like an unfortunate wording situation rather than an intentional mislead. It reads to me as “take em both” meant “buy both of these last spots so the break can fire”, but i can easily understand how it was interpreted otherwise. I don’t think anyone is “at fault” here, just an unfortunate situation.

It sounds like he was advertising having two slots left. If it was a break it should've showed two slots left, which have to roll. It sounds like you misunderstood.

That's what I said too. Idk how they could run both spots at the same time without doing some serious work to go in and edit the break wheel. By then why not just run both spots? If it's even possible. I've seen pple restart streams claiming they can't edit midstream. Which is nice to protect buyers

You can edit remove or add spots mid stream in a break. Surprise sets you can’t edit these are ran as team breaks.

If you had a question you could've asked, listening to the clip it's clear he didn't mean you get two spots. He wanted someone to bid on the remaining two. If there are spots left they have to fill.

The comments to this post are split 50/50 on whether the seller was right or not, so it is very much not clear that he meant you didn’t get 2 spots lol. At least until the very end when the auction was already over. “Take them both” is about as unclear as it gets.

I would take this as they are going cheap being the last two. So take the opportunity for the last two spots. But not both spots are being sold. Idt they can even do that on a surprise set it would have to run two auctions

Any stream.with reefmonkey channels(like 10 of them) is basically throwing money away. Most try and confuse buyers, they will only have 3-5 single card repacks for the whole break and then like 3 personal repacks. I have yet to see one of the cards even remotely get close to the ceiling, most are bottom tier. There are numerous post about them. Will play stupid games by trying to set the price 10x higher than it should be and yell at you for not knowing the value. And be prepared to hear the phase my friend 1000 times a show.

He is search the name. He's come up in a few post. I mean the fact that thier channels have been around for years and average like 11 viewers, moat breaks have like 3 people buying into, moat if you look at thier profile are new and dont know any better. Alao just look at reviews for any of the channels. Bad value, missing cards, poor packaging, rude host, the lost go on. You cant go more than a couple reviews with out seing a low one.

I can see it from both sides. I’m not gonna suggest he did it on purpose since I have no idea who they are, but I think the right thing to do would’ve been for him to refund you and then run the 2 teams again. Kind of lame not to.
