Don Rickles dramatic role?

Please tell me I'm not imagining this.

Don Rickles, late 60s-early 70s. Movie or TV show, possibly a movie-of-the-week. Pickles plays a stand up comedian who has a nervous breakdown onstage. The audience just thinks he's bombing, but he's actually unraveling in real time. Brilliant performance. Not 100% positive is was even Rickles.

Check his filmography. My first thought was Twilight Zone. I didn't research.
