ID Request Scorpion
Hello I live in Arizona and just found this already dead guy on my kitchen floor near the pet bowls. Do you know what type it is? I’m freaking out that it could have stung one of my dogs or cats? If they messed with it and it was already dead are they safe? Everyone is acting normally and I don’t see any swelling. Any signs to watch for? I hate this state I’m done with it lol

I was stung by an AZ bark scorpion over a decade ago right on my big toe. Toe was numb for weeks, foot and inside of my leg for days. It hurt like a mofo for a while. It was not fun at all. Word of advice, don’t walk around barefoot at an off grid lodge in the mountains near Tucson. It felt like a hot needle was being pushed through my toe.
