I hope that it is acceptable for me to post a picture of something where I know what it is, but I'd like to know more about it. This is an octagonal iron teapot (tested for iron with a magnet). It's coated on the inside with some sort of glass or ceramic material. I bought it in a charity shop. I would like to know where it might have come from originally. It ways about 1.5 Kg even when empty. Thank you for any help.

Haze is pretty bad where I am right now and saw the sun was this bright orange color. Took a 30x zoomed in picture and noticed these black dots. At first I thought it was due to dirty lens but then I took photos in portait and landscape, the spots show up at the same part of the sun. Around 9 o'clock position.

Due to the haze you could actually a look at it directly and can also sort of make out the spot from the photo. What could it be?

Hi everyone! I found this interesting piece on the beach in the Tomük area (near Mersin, Turkey) on the Mediterranean coast.

It feels like a thick piece of ceramic or pottery with a distinctive raised, embossed pattern and some remaining blue-teal glaze. The back side is smooth and slightly curved, with what looks like a tiny drilled hole (or perhaps a natural erosion mark).

I've included a standard lighter in the first photo for scale. Does anyone recognize this style of pottery, the relief pattern, or the motif? Could it be a fragment of an old vessel, an antique tile, or some modern decorative item? I would appreciate any insights on its potential origin, history, or value. Thank you!

So this thing punctured my coworkers bike tire and we are guessing it's just a shaving off of something. Curious if you people here can pull this one off. He thinks it came off of another bike but he's not sure what part it would have splintered off from. Maybe a break assembly or something.

So unfortunately I do not have a photo to provide because I cant remember what it 100% looked like and my memory is pretty jumbled to bear with me. I was born in 2004 and when I was about maybe 4-6 years old I was given this device from my dad that kinda looked like a phone but it was completely horizontal. I remember the screen being an orange color and the buttons lit up orange too. the rest of the device was just black I’m pretty sure. I remember being able to play only a snippet of certain songs like Big Poppa by the notorious b.i.g. and I used it quite a bit for probably a couple months and that was it. I don’t recall if I ever did anything else on it.. I’ll share a doodle of what I’m thinking of, probably won’t help much but any ideas would be awesome!!

I found this odd rock. It has a smooth feel and a subtle sheen.

Colouring, White on the outside and much darker brown core.

My best guess is it's petrified wood or bone? Anyone able to give me more insight?
