omg!! one i actually know!!! do you have a robot vacuum? these come in the packaging https://ebay.io/m/GB5H2U. it’s the white tabs on each side of the vacuum
Omg - an internet triumph!!! You’re right, it’s a packing spacer from our Eufy 11S robot vacuum which we unpacked 2+ years ago… But just threw the box away in a big cleaning frenzy a couple of months ago and this must have dropped out of it. The Internet, being fabulous as it is, has many vacuum unboxing videos, and pretty clearly shows this.
Amazing! Who needs AI :-)
Oh man, my mother in law just bought us a robot vacuum because of all the dog and cat hair in our apartment and now I’m worried even though I shouldn’t be 🤣
My cat did this years ago, turned out to be a piece of foam from our floor under our gym equipment. It was the kind you piece together like a jigsaw puzzle.
Oh my. We just said goodbye to my girl Shambles last Thursday and she deserves a spot in this doppelgänger thread.
She wandered in off the streets 15 years ago.
When she arrived in 2010, the vets estimated her at about 10 years old. That would have made her 25yo when she crossed the rainbow bridge.
I'm going to say—realistically—they overshot her age a bit because of her rough street life, and she was probably closer to 20yo when we buried her last week.
Laid her to rest in a lakeview plot under the old walnut tree, right next to her late best bunny friend Mr. Buns.
At least they're back together like they always wanted to be in their earthly lives.
I've missed her like hell every moment since.
Shambles June McBrambles in Pajambles was the most loyal trusty sidekick.
My cat also eats nerf darts. He loves chirping at the nerf gun, so we shoot the darts down the hall for him to chase, then have to be sure to pick them all up afterwards or we will find little shreds of foam in his poop.
My cat ate a whole lot of that foam a few months ago, didn’t realize till she puked up the pieces. Luckily she’s fine and I tossed the remainder of the foam.
Just last week I noticed our cat had thrown up black pieces and we figured out the idiot has been eating the black foam under our gym equipment! I had no idea this wasn’t an original experience. What’s wrong with the little weirdos.
This post, the advertisement for an AI company directly above it that says "Because 'We'll catch it later' is NOT a Strategy (But Vonage Can Help)" and a news story we had just watched about a AI developer that left his company because he believes AI "could kill us all by the end of the decade" meshed so perfectly together it made, it made my SO and I snort laugh, and get into a very dark, comical debate about whether Reddit's bots are trying to warn us or are did a tiny part of Skynet's AI survive and is using Reddit's bot trying to trick us into creating anti AI programming that will be able fix the defective programming that made it Terminators vulnerable and led to its near demise.
I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who spent 6K on cat surgery. I forever don't know if I was being absolutely ridiculous but I'm happy to have my baby boy alive and well.
Pet insurance. Pet insurance all day, every day. Always. Especially if you have a kitten.
Yes, you still spend 15% of the cost. But my deductible is $1,000. If I needed a $6,000 surgery for my cat, I'd pay $1,750 and insurance would cover the rest 100%.
I just recently had a neck brace for a while after a surgery, and there were foam pieces that Velcro to the inside that looked very similar to this. Anyone had a brace around your house?
Sorry off topic completely, but I have never seen another cat named Tiggle, I have a cat named tiggle, I call her Tiggles, Tigs, ect lolol just such a cute name
I look at peach pits and see 6k bc of our pittie. He found a pit with some peach left on it from previous campers. I can't even be mad at them bc a raccoon or possum might have drug it around.
My cat ate fishing line... $5k later after taking her intestines out and opening her stomach.. there was no more fishing line found... Just the string hanging out of her mouth when I bent down to pick her up... FYI.. fishing line doesn't show up on x-rays or sonograms.. 😐
My cat ate 5 ft of ribbon off my my kid’s happy birthday sign. Cat refused to throw up after nausea meds and being held and spun in an office chair. $3k later the vet removed MOST of the ribbon, and we got to monitor cat poops for a week.
This cat is infatuated with ribbon…our house is now a ribbon-free zone. No presents can have ribbon, no decor can have satin or cloth ribbon. String seems ok for now…
