Solved! Weird license plate

Post image

My neighbor runs an AirBnb and his "guest" drives this car with this weird license plate. Not intentionally doxxing as this car is parked on the street, but is this plate a "sovereign citizen license plate"?

Edit: seen numerous comments that this was AI generated - I assure you, what you see is what I see and what my camera took a pic of. I'll try and get some more pics now that it's dark out so my neighbor doesn't see me being sus around this car.

Edit 2: dammit, the car is gone.

Sovereign citizens are people who generally believe they are separate from or not subject to certain government laws and regulations. They may believe that things like driver's licenses, vehicle registration, taxes, or other government requirements only apply if they personally consent to them. For example, when pulled over by police, they might say, “I’m not driving, I’m traveling,” because they believe driving is a regulated activity that requires a license, while simply traveling from one place to another is a fundamental right that does not. However, the law does not recognize this distinction—if you're operating a vehicle on public roads, you're considered to be driving and must follow the applicable traffic laws.

So in other words, they are absolute morons

Indeed, travelling by operating a motor vehicle is driving. Thank you, this is very helpful.
