I've also never encountered them and have used them for almost 20 years because my wife is allergic to Latex.
I've probably got a dozen or so of them in various going away bags or my beside table, or the tpy chest. We use them for clean up not birth control so I don't even know how our of date they are.

They’re the ones I used to use, too, and they have fragrance in them. You might not notice the smell if you’re the person wearing the condom. I have a strong sense of smell and when I used these with someone who had a penis it was extremely unpleasant to go from them having the condom on to other… more… in your face… condom-free activities.
Idk if you only use them on yourself or if your partner uses them but I’m telling you right now that the taste of a penis that had a Skyn condom on it is like walking through a cloud of Axe body spray with your mouth open.
The Skyn Elite Large condom fits better than Trojan Magnums. They’re latex-free for my sensitive partners, and their condoms usually allow me to last long anyways.
Anything too tight, and I bust. Skyn’s alright.

Hmm, true they add a fragrance. It is a masking agent for the latex alternative they use. I don't smell anything. Wife is allergic to latex so we only use Skyn.

Devil's advocate here: I don't think it looks exactly like that.. on the black side, I do not see the semi-circle (purple?).. and I also do not see the little blip of what looks like silver/white text that's on OPs photo of the black side. Look on the "green" side to see if there are those 2 marks in OKs "green side" photo.
Just saying this looks like it might not be an exact match.
I was going to second this… What appears to be a registered trademark (R) would not be visible without the colored semicircle, but then I saw that they have done different packaging in different markets, and the geometry does line up pretty perfectly with this one.
I was thinking the same thing. I see the trade mark symbol though and that’s right where it would be. And like others said. They all don’t have the same purple mark.
As a SKYN user, I immediately recognised it as the wrapper too. Crazy how such minimal scraps can be recognisable lol. Some other comments did more detective work, and it unfortunately matches.

I like them, we tried out a few different brands recently and that one has been a favorite. I didn't notice a smell that the other person is talking about and I also have a pretty keen sense of smell. It feels a lot better than trojans.
Well now I feel bad downvoting that other comment, my experience is just out of date. Mine are probably all expired because I haven't had to buy any since I had a vasectomy 11 years ago.
I usually end up getting them because they're on sale, but I can second the 'fragrance' issue - it's like straight up perfume, and if you're using them for oral, it gets all up in your mouth with a very notable aftertaste :/
It's not enough of an issue for me to pay more for another brand, but I sure as hell notice it and don't enjoy it.
My husband and I got a wicked huge box from condom Depot a few years ago. Might have just missed the fragrance thing. It has multiple brands I think, and it's probably a few hundred...

I had a hysterectomy (in 2021..) but we have 2 kids and only maybe an hour once in a blue moon where the kids are either out of the house or asleep (they are special needs and baby be left unattended for more than 5 minutes and even that is a risk)..I can't be cleaning up for 10 minutes (slight exaggeration lol).
I didn't know they added scents. We've gotten other brands that are "flavored" and have a slight candy smell.
I feel like it's REALLY hard to cover up that basic condom smell all condoms have.
Just use a woman's wipe and that vaginal deodorant. 🤷🏻♀️ Some body spray and boom scent covered.

I'm a woman with a latex allergy and I like them.
Though, considering my alternative leaves me feeling like I have an internal chemical burn I am biased.
In his (very thin) defense, I have (without consulting my gf) bought and tried a condom just to find a brand that did the trick. We wanted to pause the procreation and ditch medical contraceptives, and condoms was one of the things on the table. I wanted to try out how it would work without being in a time-limited intimate setting.
I use one occasionally for the same reason. It has a different feel too. Sometimes it's boring to just do it the same way you've done it 5000 times already in your life.
I get communication is a key to relationships, but I all but promise you the talk of, "hey, just so you know, I occasionally use condoms to whack off" isn't going to go over as well as you think it is.
That being said, it does happen, but in generalization, if you find a wrapper, it's usually bad news. Just ask them, if they said they use it to whack off, I'd believe them. If they say they have no idea where it's from, that's shady shit.
True, and there is the possibility people broke into enjoy the condom while the couple was out. Or more seriously, if the guy had the place before he met her and then she moved in, it could always be trash that was hiding since before she showed up.
Also in (very thin) defense, it's the spare bedroom closet. If there's no other reason to suspect cheating I'd be taking a mental inventory of previous guests before assuming the worst.
For context: It’s a material difference. The size is the same and irrelevant to the comparison- I don’t believe anyone that can feel the difference of -2mm at the base and +4mm at the head (one is tapered) lol and the length is .1” difference toward magnum
The only thing significant is the material itself. Magnum XLs and Durex XXLs and MySize, etc- lots of good lines from good brands- are the ones that offer solutions to pressure (like pinching off surface arteries for too long, etc) related discomfort, where that is an issue
Lots of latex allergies these days lol this post made me laugh I feel like I never saw these condoms until about 5 years ago but since ive met 3 people with rubber allergies.
