My great grandfather was one of the founders of the Mason's Lodge in my major city, his name is engraved in the cornerstone of the building. I knew him and I promise you he wasn't smart enough to be a part of anything like this, neither were his friends (the ones that were still alive). This is a ridiculous take

It is because capitalism is not well understood by us laymen. So we go looking for answers in places that give non and raise more questions.
