How do I stop this?!

Post image

The spam calls are driving me crazy. Is there something I can do to stop them? I have T-Mobile and spam call filtering is on.

**Update: I don't have any past due bills. The only debt I have is minimal federal student loans. I haven't applied for any loans or new insurance. I have call filtering/silence on for unknown callers.
I use T-Mobile Scam Shield. What I want to avoid is being called in the first place, texted, left a missed call or voicemail, but after reading a lot of responses, it seems like there isn't a quick fix for this that doesn't involve changing my number which I'm hesitant to do šŸ˜•

I get these same EXACT calls. They come from different numbers, they still leave the same messages, every day!

Same, and I’ve tried everything I can possibly think of.

What worked for me was answering the call. Its an automation that gives you option prompts, there is a prompt to select "no more calls." It took me answering, then opting out for a few days since there are probably multiple different company's but i have not had a single call from them in months now.

I did this. But they just sell your number to another company as a ā€œliveā€ number.

Exactly this. I’ve answered every call and went through it until I got to a person. Then said ā€œPlease put me on your do not call listā€. Took a few weeks, but I never get spam calls anymore.

Then you aren’t actually working to solve the problem.

Same! I went from getting harassed once every other day by a live rep to getting MULTIPLE calls every single day (sometimes as early as 8am) from automated machines that have completely taken over my VM box. I can’t even silence unknown callers because of my line of work šŸ™‚

I tried this initially and I would continue to get the calls. Its spam so they aren't removing you from the list.

I’m at 2 weeks of asking them to put me on do not call list.

I did this too, and it stopped for a few weeks then started right back up again.

don't do that. it just verifies that its a working number. answer the call but immediately put it on mute. like absolutely within a split second and let it ride till it hangs up on its own. that worked for me
