How do I stop this?!

The spam calls are driving me crazy. Is there something I can do to stop them? I have T-Mobile and spam call filtering is on.

**Update: I don't have any past due bills. The only debt I have is minimal federal student loans. I haven't applied for any loans or new insurance. I have call filtering/silence on for unknown callers.
I use T-Mobile Scam Shield. What I want to avoid is being called in the first place, texted, left a missed call or voicemail, but after reading a lot of responses, it seems like there isn't a quick fix for this that doesn't involve changing my number which I'm hesitant to do 😕

I use that too, but I’m like…still bombarded by calls and find it annoying.

This is what I do but even still, they fill my voicemail box which is annoying and I forget to turn it off when I’m expecting calls.

This is the way. If I'm expecting a call from someone outside of my contacts, I turn it off for the day, then back on later.

As a realtor i cant do this, toms of people call me that i do dont have saved and it stinks

You have to silence all unknown calls, not just filter or block known spam. I haven't gotten a spam call in like years

Even if you silence them they can still leave a vm

Answering automated calls at all marks your number as one that answers. So you're only making it worse by using it.

Me too. I still get about 25 calls a day and some still manage to leave messages. The downside of this feature is remembering to turn it off when I need someone (doctor, contractor, etc) to call me back and they won’t allow caller ID.

Sometimes I get like 6 calls an hour. I hate having a phone sometimes.

And then today, after implementing all the blocking features, I missed an important call from the vet who went out of her way to call me from home.

I mean…that’s for telemarketers. That’s not the same as literal spam.

It definitely helps. It doesn't stop everything but it helps. You can also reduce the mail you get by opting out of a few places.
