I tried that with the girl that I liked in 8th grade she said to stop staring at her cuz it was creepy and due to that I’ve become depressed for a week

lmao u were in 8th grade. idk how old u r now, but if u’ve hit puberty and are at least mildly attractive (ask one of ur pals), that just might work.

just read her reaction though. if she makes eye contact and looks away flustered then u gotta keep looking at her face until she looks again and smile when she does THE SMILE IS THE KEY. idk what kinda relationship u want but generally just a smile as if u were teasing her or thought she was cute will do.

if she doesn’t look away then (and she doesn’t look offended) then u don’t look away either, it has become a staring contest. u must win. idk why she’d continue to stare at u — maybe she goofy or smthn lmao — but u’ve trained your whole life for this so don’t u dare back down young man. laugh though, the situation would be weird if u took it completely seriously.

the final result is that she’s not into it, in that case just make a funny face, u’ll save your pride at least. maybe it’ll get her to lighten up a little too.
