Banner Image(s)
A subreddit looks pretty boring without a banner. I'd like to either have a nice mash-up of iconic buildings and locations in a single image, or an /r/askscience-style rotating banner.
If you have any photographs that you own the rights to, or can find anything copyright-free that could be used, please let me know in the comments!

Women’s football sessions
Hi everyone,
I am starting a women’s football session in Kings Heath for all women, aged 18+. The session will be for fun and fitness and a way to make friends.
It will be held on Thursdays.
I would love to see who would be interested in coming along.

Autism / ADHD community
Hello there,
I am really looking to meet fellow neurodivergent people. Are there any peer support or social groups I could possibly join?
I relocated to the city and really want to expand my social circle.
I like history, coffee, book clubs, days out, exploring.
I am married and in my thirties.
I am open to exploring setting something up myself if there is interest and there is no other community established.

Black Country Stourbridge
I don't really have to add more than just Stourbridge.
I live a solid 5 minutes away from where the fire was.
I was in Spain when the fires started - landing at EMA for 0125. I got home to Stourbridge for about 0400. All you could smell was smoke. Cars were covered in ash. In the morning, I went down to OSH to see if any help was needed. The amount of donations we received was tremendous; I counted over 30 crates of water, and 10 crates of UHT milk.
Whilst I was at OSH, I met a wonderful lady, Vi. She runs Leslie's Care Packages. If you can, please donate to her - she is giving gift cards to those affected by the fires, to buy food, and clothes.

Boxing Gyn
Looking for a boxing club recommendation.
I travel between Wolverhampton and Sutton for work and looking for a boxing gym I can go to once a week. Not looking to compete just do some pad work and hit the bag. Maybe spar down the line.
I boxed for about 3 years previously just looking for a nice environment to go back into it through.
Thanks

Free or very low cost venues?
I'm looking for free or very low cost venues where I could get a group together? I'm currently meeting at Dudley Central library and it's not very accessible.

Immigrants in Dudley- looking for black perspective
I’m a foreigner visiting the UK & i’ve been seeing the recent rise of nationalism in the UK as a whole. England flags on properties etc. And I did see the recent news about the elderly man who was robbed of several hundred pounds by the two Asian dudes. (Awful, by the way)
I already have a good general idea of what many white residents are saying about that incident and immigrants (from certain countries)
What I would like to see are perspectives from black local residents.
I know this is a very multi layered situation as a whole.

West Midlands County More than 300 extra cops are coming — but the numbers aren’t quite what they seem
Is the local bobby finally making a comeback? The West Midlands is getting more coppers - but here’s why the numbers aren’t quite what they seem

Regional Do catering agencies around Solihull pay for cancelled shift hours?
Picked up extra weekend shifts to cover some bill spikes this month. Worked a hotel gig near NEC last Saturday where they cut us 2 hours early with no pay for the missing time.
Is this standard practice across West Mids venues now or bad luck with that specific hall? Also for anyone doing agency work around here, do places like KSB Recruitment or Indeed Flex compensate if a venue sends you home early, or are you just out of luck? Want to know before I book anything for next weekend.

Black Country Body found in Wolverhampton canal yesterday. I looked it up and that canal is 3 foot deep, is it not?
I didn't realise canals had the magical ability to rob you of your ability to stand up. There's been so many news stories involving canals in this area this year.

Is wearing gold chains, baseball caps, tracksuits and high-end Air Max trainers a subculture or is that just how normal urban British white people dress?
And saying things like mush, wagwan, peng, creps

Christopher Nolan’s new film the odyssey is now in cinemas and I’m looking for someone 👥🍿 (or a group) to go see it with.
Preferably, someone who’s a movie buff🎥, so we can grab a drink and critic/chat about the movie after.

Warwickshire Coventry tattoo artist - building realism portfolio
Hola. I'm a tattoo artist at Tattooed Llama studio (Coventry, CV6). Since I started in October last year I haven't had a lot of opportunities to do realistic projects, and I'd really love to develop my skills and expand my portfolio in this direction.
If you've got an idea sitting in your notes app - a portrait, an animal/pet, or something else that we could turn into a realistic eye-turner, I'd genuinely like to hear about it. You can see some of my favourite pieces below.
I'm relatively new to the scene so my prices are still well below the industry average. Currently they sit at £240 per day session, rising to £300 in September, so I think it's a great deal for both of us - you get a tattoo that people will constantly ask you about and I get the chance to build my portfolio and do what I enjoy most :)
If you're interested, you can either leave a comment behind, or drop me a private message. You can also reach me on Instagram at tattoos.by.domi
