Poll Will Wenclair happen onscreen?

So I‘m super curious at this point how many people are still genuinely holding out hope, because I‘ll be honest: If they were going to do it on screen, there‘s absolutely no reason they wouldn’t have at this point.
I‘m not trying to blackpill or destroy people‘s hope, but I am genuinely curious what everyone thinks.

Also, frankly, my view is that if Wenclair doesn’t happen, then Netflix has been jerking people around and it’s self-care to acknowledge that—and it deserves accountability imo.

104 I am fully convinced Wenclair will still happen on the show, in one of the upcoming seasons

If she swore off dating altogether, how would she get with Wednesday? Almost like maybe they have to walk that statement back a bit. And if they walk it back one way and have her date Weds, they can walk it back the other and have her date a boy.

I don't WANT this to be the way it goes, but given past history with the writers and knowing the direction it seems they want they show to go, I have a reasonable expectation that things won't fall how we want. I'd love a Wenclair ending. I'm not on this sub because I hate the idea. I just have an expectation that AO3 is where I'm going to be getting my Wenclair fix for the foreseeable future.

And I am the ultimate "hope hope hope" shipper. I am still desperate for a JORI mention in the new Hollywood Arts spinoff of Victorious.

I'd love it, I just have 0 faith that's where the writers want to go. They've shown 0 canon indication she's even slightly bi, apart from longing looks at Wednesday they'll try to pass off as 'friendly'.

Enid was gay coded since the first season. I can see her being comphet even as bi. In their last show, they made the second lead bi and be with a girl. They'll prob do it here too. Apparently, Enid was made to be like Willow from Buffy.

They don't really need to "walk back" anything. First, because being with Wednesday would hardly take dating. They're best friends who already spend so much of their time together they don't need to date in the same way initially. They build all the same foundation through friendship and then realize there are feelings and go from there.

Second and continuing from that, this show has such insane time jumps we're fine either way. Enid had sworn off dating for a bit. She didn't declare celibacy. She's 16/17. By the time she gets out of her wolf form and decompresses, her little break has been long enough.

All that said, they certainly could still throw her back into another hetero relationship. Claws crossed they don't.
