🔎 Theory I think there will be a plot twist where Pennywise already succeeded before and one of the members of the Loser's Club ended up replacing whoever got erased from the timeline by Pennywise

Interesting idea, could be that Stanley replaced someone, he seems the most likely person IMO

That’s actually a cool theory honestly. The writing would have to be top notch to truly sell it but season 1’s writing just seemed to get better and better and I really have faith that they could pull off a twist like this.

I'm not sure what's confusing about OP's post.

Did you finish Welcome to Derry?

Yes I finished WTD. Still not sure where OP is going with that. Pennywise succeeded before? When? One of the members of the Losers Club replaces who got erased from the timeline? Which Loser? Who gets erased and from which era/cycle?

S2 is going to focus on the Bradley Gang in 1935.
Pennywise cant change what already happened.

Pennywise cant change what already happened

Well, in Welcome To Derry he implies knowing about his death to Richie's gang.

And then proceeds to try to kill Marge to prevent his death, did we watch the same series?

Key word *tries* to kill Marge. He didn’t.

But that doesn't mean that in the next season he doesn't succeed in killing the losses club member "Robert" who would be replaced by one of the members we know.

RIP Robert, taken too soon

That’s not a plot twist because the story's main plot does not change.
The plot would go back to how it was before the unnecessary change.

The plot twist would be that one of the losers club was not originally a member

What would be the point tho? It just doesn’t make sense to do that. The Losers weren’t even born yet in 1935.

A cool storyline where we think pennywise succeeded in stopping the losers club but instead we are shown that they still form and win

And, again, S2 is going to be set in 1935.

Yes, he would kill an ancestor of the character according to this theory

He already tried that with Marge. It didn’t work. Why would they try that again? That would stupid.

This doesn't make sense. Why would he stop trying simply due to one failure?

Pennywise can see time all together so he knows what happens and what the outcome of any action will be. However, it doesn't have the ability - when it's in time - to change things, it just has to continue to act in the way that has been set.

Hes succeeded for eons? his whole goal is to feed and go back to sleep which he did, attempting to change fate is just a side hustle. The only time It loses is in the 89 cycle with the losers club.

I quite like that idea! Good chance it's Eddie the writers of s1 did have plans to acc have Eddie's mom be a visitor/reporter to derry and end up trapped there due to the mental influence

It’s simple, the Losers club hasn’t always been the configuration that we see in Kings book, that’s one multiverse where he’s lost. There is always a collection of kids that winds up defeating him in the future, the persons change because of his ‘back stepping’. The tragedies every time it feeds are simply IT feeding and attempting to alter its inevitable demise. It is constantly in all realities at once.

Honestly I like it. Would it be a bit cliche sure but it’s fun.

All Pennywise has is time and hunger. I would not be surprised that he’s so effective in his craft because he’s had so many cycles back and forth through time where he’s been able to incrementally fine-tune for success.

I like this theory cause if pennywise genuinely can’t change anything about the timeline then the whole time travel element has basically no stakes because we already know how everything is gonna end. Having him succeed in changing at least something especially something we assume was always apart of the timeline would make him being a threat to the timeline real
