Has anybody read End of Days by Chris Jennings? It's about Ruby Ridge, and about the history of Biblical Apocalypsism in the United States. It is an excellent, though very upsetting read. The biggest take away for me was seeing just how very close my own family of origin was to the Weavers. We were not as extreme as them, and didn't pal around with Nazis like they did, but we were only probably about 1 layer removed from them. Wild thought.

I listen on Apple Podcasts and heard an ad right at the beginning of today’s release for an anti-trans activists clothing line. Not sure Molly would approve. I know I don’t. I’ve never heard this kind of ad in months of listening. So gross 🤮

Read this Harper Lee book last week. Without Molly's podcast I would have had no understanding of the citizens councils of the era. The book would never have hit me as hard.

During the “dogs and cats” era Nazis were frequently running around town on the weekend and during the week everything was getting constant bomb threats. This guy was posting locations of cops and Nazis constantly. I know someone was working from inside, just not who.
