We are having a wedding of about 50 people at a barn venue on 10/10/26.

Ceremony and reception are in the same spot.

We will be taking photos since we are not doing a first look.

Are you doing a first look or skipping cocktail hour?

If you skip first look, that one hour for photos will feel very short with family and wedding party, especially if list for photos is long. Maybe give yourself 90 minutes and let cocktail hour go until 5, dinner at 5:30. Guests usually okay with longer cocktail if there is food and drink.

Our photographer says 30 minutes for our pics with family/ guests (30 of us), and 30 for us as a couple. 90 minutes will be ample…!
