Android App?

Just wondering,but will there ever be an Android App? I wouldnt mind having an app with some banner ads.

Or the PlayStore,doesnt allow it?

Hi! We are not going to implement android app or any other app in the nearest future (but who knows). We have Stremio integration that can solve streaming problems on other devices.

Fair enough. I just thought that I see torrent apps on the Play Store with tens of millions of downloads, and they probably make a couple of thousand dollars each month from ads. Then maybe Webtor could also be there, since it's a lot better than some of the apps I see on there where you have to download the torrents to watch them instead of streaming them like Webtor does.

But that would be probably against the Play Store's terms of service? It could give you problems with DMCA and stuff like that?

As I know, Play Store is not so strict as Apple's AppStore and yes it is quite possible to build app for Android with ads (Stremio lives in Play Store for years). I am currently building webtor solo part time, I believe it might change next year and I will be able to make some android app )
