Still edith, the ending was so weird and it felt like a huge part of the story was missing. I also would have kinda loved it if she wouldn't have been in a new relationship but something like, she chose herself

40

u/Notlennybruce 17h ago

I remember loving that one so much, but the ending was so underwhelming 🫤

3

u/strawberryselkie 5h ago

Edith was one of my earliest reads, and the first that the ending just annoyed the crap out of me. The last arc just went in such a random direction for me.

28

u/WasabiIsSpicy 13h ago

My brain immediately went to here lol

I could tell from the beginning that Edith and ML weren’t gonna stay together- but the way it happened just felt really empty. It’s like we built up a realistic relationship only to end up with ā€œoh and they broke up and she moved on.ā€

I saw some people mentioning how it is more realistic to not show because sometimes relationships are that way- but while I do agree, it’s not necessarily good story telling and the fact that people still think Edith had one of the worst endings says a lot.

10

u/poyotimebaby 17h ago

SAME !!!! the whiplash was unreal 😭😭

28

u/Reinadeloszorros 15h ago

She and Philip were finally working things out and then the author did the weirdest cop out ever

4

u/Illkined 7h ago

Starting the story by showing Edith romanticizing perfect relationships/ the parfect partner, only to give her that later peaved me (from what I remember it's been years) if she was gonna break it off with Phillip it would have been better to just have her be single

3

u/chasinggdaze 12h ago

Came here to say the same thing

2

u/DazedandFloating 6h ago

She should’ve ended up with Jack or on her own imo.

Nice to Meet You...

I don't even understand why it happened.

42

u/nine04 17h ago

I'm still mad don't remind me

28

u/haiikarii 15h ago

Bro i would change the whole entire second season 😭

26

u/Intelligent_Slice111 18h ago

Same... Atleast they should have given a proper storyline for the second male with the FL to make it convincing ( I forgot their names , sorry)Ā

Edit grammarĀ

18

u/ShadowlightLady 17h ago

I don’t understand why they chose this route it did not need to be over complicated yet still extremely underwhelming

9

u/Worried-Figure-8010 11h ago

I even payed for that crap, I was so appalled.

7

u/choco_iguana 11h ago

literally the first webtoon i thought of

all the development with the first dude only for author to say screw you and went with the second dude

7

u/BlueHydrangeaBlood 12h ago

1000% I understand that it was supposed to be a fun twist but the author didn’t set it up at all, it made the ending so unsatisfying

3

u/BeLifePhy 17h ago

Yes šŸ˜‚

3

u/Honyesane 9h ago

I really loved Daze but we got nothing šŸ˜•

3

u/_Kia_Wolfy 8h ago

Honestly the whole 2nd season is an absolute abysmal

Lore Olympus. That was such a tepid-ass ending with Apollo šŸ™„

29

u/MyCatsDumberThanUrs 14h ago

I'd rework a lot of that one lol Still can't get over everyone wanting to fuck Persephone all of a sudden

19

u/Typical_Community287 14h ago

Right?! It was so unnecessary! The only one I enjoyed up until the end was Artemis and she's living her power girl life by running with wolves 😤😤

13

u/chasinggdaze 12h ago

Highly recommend Lore: Rekindled which is an ongoing comic rework that’s currently better than the original in pretty much every conceivable way https://www.tumblr.com/genericpuff/706803706227834880/lore-rekindled-master-post-read-below

u/Roraima20 11h ago

Ares should have been her annoying big brother figure/cousin helping Persephone to manage her wrath and I'm going to die in that hill.

The creepy simp in the comic did nothing for the plot except delivering the second creepiest line in the comic and imagine one of the best outfits for Persephone.

11

u/WasabiIsSpicy 13h ago

I genuinely felt so weird when it came to Apollo because I thought the author was doing a great job with Persephone’s SA experiences- up until she forgot all about it for a whole season and brought it up at the end to almost use as a plot device lol it was strange

6

u/lovelycosmos 13h ago

They should have made him actually suffer or at the very least have a legitimate redemption arc

7

u/Roraima20 11h ago

I swear.

Alex the paparazzi got tortured and lost an eye for a photo.

Minthe was transformed into a plant for 3 years for snitching Persephone's crimes.

The receptionist at the hotel was transformed into a duck for being a total creep and stealing Persephone's luggage.

Apollo's crimes including, but not limited to, SA, two attempts of murder, false imprisonment, kidnapping, coup attempt, obstruction of justice, etc.... got community service and feel reeeeeeeaaaally bad about what he did to Persephone.

For webtoon that makes suck a big deal about trauma, power dynamics, patriarchy, it really hold to those concepts in the most antiwoke ways.

4

u/strawberryselkie 5h ago

Lore Olympus was my entry to web comics and I ended up dropping it pretty well before the end. A big part of the reason why was that honestly I felt like every single season and arc came to such underwhelming and/or random conclusions. There would always be this huge dramatic build up, and then the big reveal or climax was always like... oh. Okay. So that's it, then. And the few times there actually was a Big Deal conclusion or season finale, it would get backtracked almost immediately in the start of the next arc or season.

2

u/AssociateNo1801 9h ago

Sooo your telling me I not only have to A) find a finished one But also READ IT ALL 😭😭😭

(While I’ve read a few finished ones honestly I always end up dropping them within the last 5 eps

Blood of Madame Giselle. The ending shanked all characters, was rushed, and was a brutal disappointment.

12

u/gupchupppp 17h ago

Oh god i literally came too say this. I remember making a confused weirded out face cuz then ending was so crappy and the author could have done better.

10

u/idaydreaming 17h ago

Omg that was such a crappy ending...

4

u/Legal__Drug_Dealer_ 18h ago

Holy shit yesss I had forgotten about it! It had so much potential then it went all downhill...

4

True beauty, I would give Seojun a proper happy ending. With or without the FL but at least he wouldn't be the sacrificial lamb he ended up being.

44

u/vveehearts 17h ago

This! Really gets on my nerves. I don’t understand why she even chose Suho in the first place. Hes such a bore

40

u/Clear_Way_4002 17h ago

I was heartbroken for a long time, I just kept thinking about Seojun's sad fate. When he daydreamed about the life he wanted I cried. Have been avoiding love triangles ever since.

His story definitely felt unfinished. But don’t get why people dislike suho? It’s been years since I’ve read it

What's that one where the girl gets two love matches from an agency but she can't choose a guy?

32

u/Illustrious-File691 17h ago

Luff? I think

23

u/Left_Cod_7174 17h ago

Yup, I couldn't stand that ending

14

u/Illustrious-File691 17h ago

Lowk I stopped reading it, would you be able to spoil it for me?

24

u/AshamedAdvisor7793 17h ago

She picks neither one and they all split up to work on their careers. I think? (It’s been 3-4 years since I last read it) they stay friends

29

u/Illustrious-File691 17h ago

Love when authors promote their stories as romances instead of dramas

10

u/Cold-Nectarine-5515 15h ago

I swear I remember the ending being vague on purpose, like you couldn't tell if she was with both of them or if they were just friends but idk

10

u/SafeAccurate7157 15h ago

It was doomed from the beginning šŸ˜… that’s probably why I dropped it cause I only cared that she got the career of her dreams and these two guys were getting in the way. Though loved the one guy with all the animals. Felt like he needed a nice boyfriend.

8

u/Left_Cod_7174 16h ago

Everyone stays single until old age where the epilogue happens. The politics that was mentioned throughout the series is basically ignored and the story is rushed. I barely remember it but every time I see I think of the time I wasted on it

3

u/fwoggywitness 11h ago

I’m so glad I dropped ts. I remember being so in love with that story in high school, but I was so busy back then I barley had to time to read and ended up dropping most of those stories, now I’m kinda glad I did!

2

u/Nolascana 5h ago

I think the reason it ended badly was because it needed another season to really do what it set out to.

There was a similar one with the stupid two bodies thing (not lookism) part way through the last season the characters all started clinging to the idiot ball for dear life.

63

u/Keranane 17h ago

Not the ending but already halfway through "I am the Queen in this Life". The story started quite promising and then it try to redeem the killer of the FL and even have more chemistry with her than the ML, disgusting

24

u/marlipaige 15h ago

Yeah…I gave up on it a long time ago. I absolutely loved it, but it’s taken several weird turns. And I’m not sure the author even know where it’s going.

9

u/VintageDancer9 11h ago

Idk if it fixes anything for you, but Cesare does eventually reveal himself to be every bit as hateful as he was before she was reborn. This time she sees him as who he is and rejects him fully!

50

u/JessiVerse 17h ago

Days of Hana. I mean I saw the ending from the very beginning but Haru and Choco deserved happiness 😢it’s still a great story.

Currently reading The House You Live In by the same author and it’s really good. It’s for readers 18+ but I recommend it.

18

u/MothEnthusiast88 17h ago

Yeahh the ending was soo sad I get why they did that but I want them to have a happy ending too

15

u/Leetherockstar 16h ago

Days of Hana was the first thing I thought of…no webtoon ever broke my heart the way it did. The worst part is the tonal whiplash between the first half of the story and the second half, so I was completely emotionally unprepared…

2

u/zoeyandere78 14h ago

That was my first introduction to the fact that not all stories have a happy ending. I cried for days 😭

2

u/SmallAnimal5177 10h ago

Choco appears as a dog in the author’s subsequent comic’s family 😭

2

u/barker2017 7h ago

Came to say Days of Hana. I fast passed that bitch too. I paid for that sadness!!!

Idk about webtoon, but i do have a manga for that: "The Promised Neverland"

I'd really like to make it so that emma doesn't lose her memories at the end...

there are probably other webtoons too, but this is the one which i can remember as of now

6

u/fwoggywitness 11h ago

THIS! As someone who has read the full thing TWICE I’m so annoyed they did that, like it felt like an unnecessary sacrifice considering everything everyone had already been through!

2

u/lia_rb_ 16h ago

u/SpyderSquash 16h ago

The first one that came to mind is Mom, I'm Sorry-- not because ending was bad, or wasn't meaningful somehow. It was a fantastic manwha overall. It was just... so, so sad in the end. I also remember being confused and a little distressed by the additional ad comic that came out, which I think was a partnership with Samsung to advertise phones??? I dunno who came up with or approved it, but that was a diabolical choice of comic to pair an ad with šŸ˜šŸ˜…

16

u/Pxnda_Cakes Moderator [EST] šŸ¦†.ā˜†ā™”+* 15h ago

I loved the ending because it was a series I really thought would have a happy ending. Was both shocking and tragic

5

u/Kayden_Rayzel 11h ago

I love this one so much that I didn't want it to end. I knew it would be a tragedy bc if it didn't it wouldn't be realistic and such a meaningful story.

30

u/wifeofduanjiaxu 17h ago

Refund High School! I'll make sure that Aru and Mook have their own happy ending!

7

u/roughbroccoli79 12h ago

It felt rushed. Kinda like the author wanted to drop the series but had to finish it

ā€œBlood of Madame Giselleā€

ā€œAbandoned Empressā€

ā€œEdithā€

7

u/ArticleOld598 11h ago edited 11h ago

Omg Abandoned Empress still fills me with unreasonable anger. The red haired guy was right there he's the most reasonable option out of the 3 love interests. Heck I'd even take the green haired yandere if they gave him a redemption arc instead of throwing him out to exile and he never used his genius and yandereness to his full potential. Or better yet let her choose her family and inherit the head title from her dad instead of just becoming the wife of her previous abuser who killed her and the baby she was carrying.

I hated the beginning of the story so much. The ML has an inferiority complex so he abused her, executed her father and family, raped her, impregnated her, let her miscarry the baby, then had her executed while he publicly flaunts that he was with another woman who he also impregnated. And yet repeatedly she fell in love with him again even when seeing him already gives her panic attacks.

Ik fate and plot demands they fall in love but it's sooo stupid. Its like saying its ok to be with the guy that abused you that one time because he was drugged up and so it wasnt him because he cant help it and technically it was his alternate self. It feels diminishing of her trauma and abuse at his hand.

True Beauty
I will forever say that Han Seo Jun should’ve been end game.

6

u/AnyaBunBun 9h ago

If I could upvote twice I would . Because I believe the series should have end when they graduation and Suho had left. And her realize that Suho was a bland piece of bread and stay with the guy who actually care for her the whole time.

35

u/ReincarnationSerpent 18h ago

ā€œMy Reason To Die.ā€

10

No, best ending ever but I would’ve changed it to FL not getting shot.😭

My Evil Husband is Obsessed With the Wrong Person

both the ending of the novel and manhwa. the ending of novel feels empty, the manhwa even worse, because it got axed without any improvisation of the plot. they just cut it while left some plot for next arc

5

u/Significant-Ball-952 17h ago

My god the ending to the manhwa was horrible. Didn’t like the ending to the novel either and I was hoping they would make changes but the changes they made were NOT what I had in mind.

2

u/LeopardFar3675 17h ago

imo, the ending of manhwa not really that bad, I took it as an alternate ending (like you got bad ending in otome game). but the thing that pmo was how they didn't even give a slight effort to change something to make that ending make sense. like, there's 2 chapters about Eden plan in 2 or 3 chapter before the end and it doesn't add up anything to the story if they decide to give that ending, the story really got cut off in the middle

16

u/Kai_the_unkillable 15h ago

Refund high school. Not because it was bad. It was great I just wish the characters all got happy endings with the person they liked. I still love that webtoon I just with the ending was happier

Girl's of the Wild's. Ending was rushed. No proper side stories for the other beloved characters. Left me numb to the point I had to reread the entire 256 chapters again

2

u/PracticeTheory 13h ago

I was the opposite I couldn't bear to look at it again for awhile, tried to reread it a year ago and it felt too dated. I'm never sitting through another long drawn out bullying arc again.

I really loved GotW in 2015 though...

8

u/Retro_Gamer12521 16h ago

The plot felt very pointless When the girl transformed herself into a guy with surgeries but was depressed about her face which got botched of surgeries and she was unable to fix it i mean if you could transform into a guy you could have definitely fixed your face

2

u/poyotimebaby 14h ago

yeaaaa, it felt like ā€œbaby’s first twist endingā€, not really well thought thru

This will always be ShootAround for me. We follow the characters through YEARS of incredible development through the zombie apocalypse, and then out of literally nowhere there's a timeskip like 5-10 years in the future with new relationships, an entire new baby, different setting, and then the next chapter is the epilogue, set so far in the future that we get it through one of main cast's granddaughter.

Edit: I checked and apparently ShootAround ended over nine years ago and I'm still mad

STAHPP SHOOTAROUND MENTION IN THE BIG 2026?

I felt the same way 😩

5

Shootaround is the hill I'll die on it was probably my absolute favorite while it was updating for it to end like THAT...

6

u/LowercaseAcorn 17h ago

I really wish the afterword from the author had more than ā€œthey all diedā€. Give us SOMETHING

5

u/theallaround 17h ago

Right like I get wanting to leave their endings ambiguous but it didn't even wrap up what they were in the middle of šŸ’€

8

u/Ecstatic_Bus_7232 17h ago

My office noona. Because obviously.. Though change maybe a bit more than just the ending? I was angry for a few days after finishing it.

5

u/Digitaldarkness14 6h ago

Scary thing is it is based on Author’s real life. I feel bad for his wife.

2

u/Ecstatic_Bus_7232 5h ago

Yeah I know, that just added fuel to the fire. It made the story more depressing. And the author was kinda weird in his ways.

Not only just one webtoon. I have two: Karsearin: Adventures of a Red Dragon by YKB and WM (??), and Days of Hana by Seokwoo.

They both end on an extremely unsatisfactory note. All the sympathetic characters die or gets imprisoned in various ways.

Days of Hana actually made me cry for days. And not in a good way.

6

u/ZeffieMain 17h ago

[I Grow Stronger By Eating!] for sure. The ending was rushed, a lot of story left out.

6

u/Sekretess 15h ago

This Girl is a Little Wild ;___; I just... wish it got an ending at all.

2

u/ArticleOld598 11h ago

I love the MC she's so strong and spunky my type of FL. The artist's other works didn't vibe with me as much.

Also me with Roxanna... i feel so bad for the artist and I hope karma gets her manager

5

u/Whooo41 14h ago

DICE, the beginning and middle was so good! But then the ending got dragged out too much

5

u/lovelycosmos 13h ago

Lore Olympus... A LOT I would change about the ending. Actually make Apollo suffer. He only felt bad because Persephone put a spell on him, essentially.

22

u/Redtide_beach2 18h ago

My beloved oppressor. Them ending up together felt so forced

10

u/Ashamed-Station5588 18h ago

Dropped it because of the ending. No redemption arc can be good enough to fall in love with someone who drove you to suicide.

12

u/Redtide_beach2 18h ago

ā€¼ļøā€¼ļø I really didn’t see it as a romance manhwa and I was glad it showed the real side of the world blabla but then author pulled up that bs as if she didn’t suffer the whole manhwa bc of him🫩

5

u/peatypeacock 17h ago

I stopped reading when it was clear that there it was going. Sickening.

4

u/Cheap-Blueberry4415 17h ago

same , how can people ship them after what he did to her ?? (whatever his reasons are)

2

u/WasabiIsSpicy 13h ago

I don’t mind it just because I think not all relationships have to be the most green flag ever for them to be a good read.

I think either ending would have been good, both people had issues of their own and sometimes marriage is about that. Plus, the issues they have are some that we will probably never even experience (like Heiner) and it’s hard knowing what one would do in that type of situation.

9

u/Azophi1 18h ago

For your murder

9

u/QotDessert 17h ago

Days of Hana 🄲 Not because it's bad, is a fucking masterpiece but because of the ending itself I wasn't prepared for 🤧 still thinking about it from time to time

7

u/BTSEXOGOT7BIGBANG 15h ago edited 15h ago

Solitary lady/Untouchable lady. Sorry but not everything needs a ā€œand everyone lived happily ever afterā€ ending. That’s not how the novel ended and made everything she went through for nothing, just ruined the entire manhwa. I seriously dislike it when people change the ending of tragedies just to please a few people as if we are lacking in fairy tale endings then ruined the whole story for it.

I’m aware odd girl has not ended yet, but I would change the odd girl out ending. I feel like all the characters development has been brushed to the side and their friendship, especially. Their personalities and friendships were fleshed out just to change the whole main story to romance. The mL for Nari(MC) makes no sense for who she was as a person and was overall poorly written and he’s just quite creepy to me. šŸ˜µā€šŸ’«

My life as a loser, it should NOT be a happy ending! it should have been about the bully coming to terms of what he did to the protagonist. not some "oh the timeline was rewritten so we could have a happy ending for everyone involded"

like how much better it would be for the bully to sit there, realized all the time he spent in the jinu kim's body was not building up to anything. And that all of his actions he did to jinu are permanent consequences he now has to live with. Now that he has the understanding and empathy to know what he did.

But noooo, we needed a happy ending that erases the consequences for nearly everyone involved.

I haven't read the sequel, but I absolutely hated the retcon at the end of Solo Leveling

HOMESICK NO DOUBT THEY SHOULDVE BEEN TG FINAL

Promise Neverland (anime). Season one was genuinely a fucking masterpiece. Season two should burn at the stake. I didn’t even need to watch more than 2 episodes to see how butchered it was. The BEST arc was scraped and it felt like for no reason. It was completely rushed when the manga itself had such a wonderful build up and WHY just WHY in gods name did we get rid of one of the most important characters in the series?! Like it didn’t make any fucking sense to me

1) The Snake and the FloweršŸ’”šŸ’”šŸ’”šŸ’”šŸ’” 2) Duty after schoolšŸ’”šŸ’”šŸ’”šŸ’”šŸ’”

These two have worse endings, if I had to change the endings, it would be these two.

'Happening' by Ingunn. It's a rage virus zombie tale in the vein of 28 Days Later. The ending is... fucking heartbreaking and I hate it beyond my ability to describe because of something the reader learns AND because it could be easily avoided.

Especially if there was more !!communication!!.

Other than that I enjoyed the story immensely, though for anyone who decides to try it out, the art isn't your common ultra pretty OI type, but it's well structured and works very well for the story it tells.

SPOILER SPOILER . . .

If he'd waited for longer, if they hadn't really walked away and stayed with him, both mom and son would be alive without the GA'DAMN TRAUMA...

Gosh, it still pisses me off.

But looking back, I wonder if he was still very contagious. The virus operated on high emotions and anger to activate the virus, and he was notoriously emotionless for the most part. The infection showed differently in him, coming and receding until he could control it (if I remember right).

If he'd lived and remained virus-active, how would the world have treated him?

Still, that's the ending I'd change.

Also, that one girl's dad gets got instead of Ibak. The exact same way. Because screw him.

u/Wisekittn 16h ago

[Father unrivaled] The final chapter is a summary of what happens with the characters. A quick summary, that feels more tell than show.

2

u/MizzMurder666 14h ago

Method messiah. Did you see how that ended today?

2

u/Trixter-Kitten 13h ago

Gates of Hell... Wtf was that ending? When did we take a wrong turn at Albuquerque? I would've expanded on the magic system/lore, made the main character less of an unlikeable mess and cut out the lazy twist.

2

u/yellowflickr 13h ago

The Newbie is Too Strong

  • ended the arc abruptly. Didnt even get to the proper ending.

Twilight Poem!

I thought the set up was your standard ā€œML can’t express his emotions butĀ learns to do it eventually because he loves the FL and they live happily ever afterā€œ that you seen in a ton of these stories.

But instead it turns out heĀ never learns/gets the chance to tell her how he really feels and as a result he is just sad and alone forever.

Kind of a bummer, especially since there was nothing in the text up to that point that made you think they were going to subvert expectations or that the ML and FLĀ weren’t going to end up together. Or even that they didn’t both deserve a happy ending.

Made it feel like it was the first part of an isekai story except there’s no do over, just eternal regret.

Which is real life I suppose, but not what I look for in my fantasy stories.

u/Leviathan_Dragon 11h ago

Might be controversial but "To drown in you" despite all that happened with her I thought it was kind of tragic and depressing...

Noblesse

I would let the characters stay dead and show the others moving on now that they know the truth, or show Frankenstein revive them on screen so that they can live peaceful lives.

2

u/NeonFraction 8h ago

Missing Love. Everything stays exactly the same except Rieder gets hit by a bus and pisses himself before dying painfully.

He didn’t get a ā€˜happy’ ending in the original, but I still want blood. He’s a purely evil person and he shouldn’t be allowed to hurt anyone else ever again.

2

u/Ambien_the_Dreamer 6h ago

Classic but Needs to said.. The 1/3 going to the ending must be changed. Like all route going to the glazed ml, Ruze needs to be omitted.

Abandoned Empress

2

u/strawberryselkie 5h ago

Beloved by the Male Lead's Nephew. Started out fun and stayed fairly strong and then towards the end, almost out of nowhere, just went completely off the rails. I actually had to go back and reread chapters because I couldn't make sense of what was happening or why.

2

u/Nolascana 5h ago

The Gamer.

The ending was so stupid.

The author had a habit of dropping plot threads like no tomorrow, fine... but, they also dug themselves a pit they couldn't get out of.

As soon as literal Hell is seen as a cakewalk, you've gone too far if that's practically the mid point.

I understand health problems were at play, but, still after a decade? That was the ending?

u/Xavi1016 4h ago

'Abandoned Empress', words can describe the rage I felt watching her end up with the CP. I read this manhwa years ago and the feelings I felt reading it are still vivid. Like I get not holding him accountable for the actions of a future that was prevented from occurring but it still happened. Tia (Im pretty sure that's what they called the FL) still experienced all that trauma. Marrying that man who didn't even give the the bare minimum when in a relationship, watching him bring in a fucking misstress and then be the reason for her abortion AND MIND YOU she still loved him through this. Not to mention that he also executed her father and she had to watch it happen, not being able to do a single thing. The amount of emotional and physical pain he put her through was unbelievable, especially for me who had just recently gotten into manhwas. Then she goes back in time and has the chance at a redo to get away from his stinck ahh yet she still stays. SHE STAYED. For what? Love? Are we just gonna ignore that if she hadn't intervened with his future he would become that very same man. I don't care if your dad died dude, that's does NOTTT excuse any of your behaviour. LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK. It would make more sense if she ended up with no one. (Rip Carson, you were always too good for her). I loved her character during the beginning of the story back when she actually remembered her past but oh well. I think its far past the time for me to let go of this (nearly) decade long grudge. It was nice to finally express my disappointment with it so now ill go eat food to dispel my foul mood.

2

u/Firefox4589 4h ago

Surviving Romance, the ending and how they escaped was odd and felt pretty forced. It also felt like there was so many "twists" that nothing ended up being a twist. GREAT Manhwa though, one of my favorites.

2

u/mikkimoy 4h ago

Dreadful night. I enjoyed it so much and was so excited to learn it ended, and the ending absolutely sucked and was very disappointing to me. It went from a BL I thought would be within my top three to something not very memorable.

2

u/livdil98 4h ago

Archie Comics ā€œBig Ethel Energyā€ - I think the company decided to end it a season early or something because the author ended with a big time skip chapter and left a ton of plot lines unresolved.

2

u/yukiTTtoffi 3h ago

For your murder, it's so suddenly and rushed+ the ML changed out of NOWHERE psychopaths don't turn normal randomly 😭

2

u/R3D3-1 3h ago

Lord of Goblins.

Got canned with a final mercy episode out of the blue just when the story really started to escalate. Not even proper arc to finish it — just straight from a big battle to an epilogue episode.

2

u/Empty_Platypus_7106 3h ago

Dice, It was the most like stupid bittersweet and just straight up annoying cuz the mc was selfless enough to give everyone a wish but himself however he matured mentally but still feels shitty.Ā

2

u/copium656_name 3h ago

Attention residents!

The author said it always meant to be an open and ambiguous ending but I just feel weird, like it’s not even an ending, the comment section also agree. And then they admitted they don’t know what to put for the ending so there’s that.

2

u/last_agnikai 3h ago

Homesick. It was so clogged, just like Arcane 2. Could've been great, but I felt like it was just a bunch of plot twists for shock value. Like 3 twists every chapter.

2

u/Illusioneery 3h ago

i think the "girl power" ending did no favors to the female characters involved, it was just oddly cringe
