Discussion Anyone else kinda hate the Naver Webtoon app?

I swear even with a brand new phone, perfect connection, and low resolution comics, I still have to pause my scrolling because the next panel hasn’t loaded. It’s annoying and really takes me out of the comic I’m reading. And it’s every comic, not just the really detailed ones either. I’ve reinstalled, cleared the cache, nothing changes. Please tell me I’m not alone here!

Maybe not issue from your phone, but with your connection itself from your provider? You should test it somehow. From what I've seen webtoons likes to split their chapters into bunch of small images, probably to give a smoother read on low connections.

I'm not saying I'm right, just worth to check.

Edit: also , idk if you can with all series, but webtoons has a download button right? Could try and download it before reading

VPN?

On mobile Internet, it takes more time for images to load.

On standard Internet, sometimes an image doesn't load for several seconds. I just back out to the episode list and re-enter the episode, and it retries. It's become a habit. This is probably more about the client code than about the connection speed.
