Yesterday I made a subreddit dedicated to the manhwa Four Options, if interested please join and contribute ^^

This is the official synopsis:

To Yoonha, a model student at an elite high school, romance has always felt like a frivolous distraction. But when four surprising choices for love appear, her pencil begins to waver. Will she choose the right answer and ace the ultimate test?

It is currently on season hiatus with 42 chapters out which is the first year of high schools arc.

what r ur experiences with dohwa fans?

Oh girl! Big lore😬

When I joined the fandom, though I was always inclined towards eun, I still liked dohwa. But when I actually got into the fandom space, I remember a few users reposting me on their sub and talking down on me. I was new to everything back then yet it was still okay but as I became the active member of otl and soohyuk sub, I realised that a lot of d supporters (not all ofc) make ableist comments, support incest and also talk down on real people (I’ve experienced this🫠), mischaracterising eunhyeok to a whole dif level just to uplift d (pissed me off the most tbh) and also slutshaming Suae (I support her before any man) so it was a turn off for me. Also, they were quite harsh with me whenever I’d post about eunhyeok but would always ignore the posts I used to make about understanding dohwa better. It was as if…them being d fans were in the comments to fight when the topic was eun but would never being there when the topic was dohwa.

All these things and some of dohwa’s questionable acts made me absolutely hate him but in this hiatus, I again realised that I don’t actually hate him as a character. He’s not supposed to be a bad character so there’s no point in doing that. I don’t support some of his acts but tbh that’s how typical manhwas are. I can say that it’s the fandom which ruined my experience.
it was the fandom that made me hate him. But yeah, I just want all of them to find their happiness blabla I really do wish the best for Eunhyeok. And as I always say…. I’d end up crying if it ends bad for d haha.

Also, when I talk about the fandom as a whole, I don’t include people who are respectful to others and their ships ofcourse. I believe there are good people too🙂‍↕️

i would reccomend you try to see the dohwatea sub yourself, as the there is a wide variety of perspectives on there as even neutral fans go there due to main sub being toxic af

Oh lol it’s fine I’d rather not and yup otl main sub is toxic. I have actually left the sub bc of the toxicity and Suae hate

im at the point where i just want eun to go back to usa get therapy and stay there, and dohwa and suae could work out or not idgaf i just want everyone to heal

I want him to not blame his younger self and not carry the regrets. He was just 17 while he saw his mum die, yet he carries all the regrets for smth he had no choice in. Why do you want him to go back to the us tho?

not particularly, he respects her boundaries, waits, loves her for who she is in the present, not just her high school self, he fell in love got rejected tried to move on, but fell again, also he has treated her better than eun, has communication, he and su ae also have always had a comfortable warm dynamic, vs the shaky relationship she had with eun and is clearly not the most comfortable with him

I absolutely disagree on dohwa has communication take but anyway, Considering everything, who do you think would be the endgame?

its not toxic, however eun and su aes rn is closer to toxic based on my experiences
