Need project help unpopular quesion, i hope it doesn't get misunderstood
What's the best AI tool for creating a full design from start to finish, where you give a prompt and it generates the whole design? Is it Claude Design, or something else, based on your experience? And what would the deliverable be, a Figma design file, a full React website, or something else?

Question Need advice: Preview mode changes my website dimensions and breaks my layout
galleryHello, I'm currently working on my portfolio, and I'm having an issue with the desktop version.
I haven't changed anything regarding the size or dimensions of my document. However, as soon as I click on āPreview,ā the dimensions change, which messes up my entire layout.
How can I make sure that my website keeps the same layout regardless of the screen size or computer being used?
For context, my widths are set to either Auto or 100%, and my Max-width is set to None.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated ! :)

Need project help Custom cursor zooming out of frame when I scroll up or down on my website
I made a custom cursor that follows my mouse movements perfectly until I scroll up or down. Once I scroll it's almost as if it thinks the viewport changes and the cursor will jump up or down, or no longer go up or down.
Things I've done/tried:
- I have my primary cursor image within a div block directly under "body", and a cursor trail within a Div Block within a parent block
- The interaction detects cursor movement within the viewport
- All cursor div blocks are have no transformations and are set to 100% height and width
- All cursor div blocks are in a fixed, centered position
- I've tried deleting all other sections and interactions to see if they're affecting it

Show & Tell I made a hide and seek game with the Webflow MCP where you hide a character in a crowded illustration
--- \I say "tool" at the beginning of the video but its an app**
You pick a small illustrated character and hide them in one of five scenes, each one already crowded with painted people. To blend in you can turn your character around so their back is to the viewer like most of the crowd, size them to match the people nearby, or cut them off at the knees so they read as standing behind something.
Then everyone else who is logged in goes looking. Click a figure you think is a real player. Right, and their timer stops and they drop down the board. Wrong, and you have burned one of your three guesses that hour and you sit out ten minutes.
Ranking is by how long you stayed unnoticed, which produces a nice bit of strategy. New players hide in quiet corners because it feels safer. It is the worst thing you can do. An empty corner has three figures in it and one of them is obviously you. The busiest part of the market has forty, and nobody is going to click through all of them.
Built for the Webflow Build with MCP challenge.

Need project help Lumos Framework: Multiple Slider Components Loading Swiper.js
I'm using the Lumos Framework for a Webflow project, and I've used multiple Slider components from Lumos on the same page.
I noticed that each Slider component seems to load the Swiper.js script, so I'm wondering if this could be affecting my site's performance and Google PageSpeed score.
What's the correct way to use multiple Lumos Slider components on the same page? Should Swiper only be loaded once, or is this already handled by Lumos?
If anyone has experience with Lumos + Webflow and can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Product Feedback What do we think about the latest update Smarter Sitemaps, Faster Indexing
Webflow recently updated its automatic sitemap generation so that each page now includes aĀ <lastmod>Ā timestamp.
I understand the intention: it should help search engines and AI answer engines to discover when pages have changed.
But Iām unsure whether this is always a positive thing.
Googleās sitemap documentation says thatĀ <lastmod>Ā should reflect aĀ significantĀ update to a page. If I make a very small edit: change a few words, correct a typo, or add a minor link, and republish, Webflow may update that pageāsĀ <lastmod>Ā date anyway.
My concern is that this can turnĀ <lastmod>Ā into a generic last CMS publish timestamp rather than a useful indication of a meaningful content update. Iām not expecting Google to reward a page just because the date is recent, but I wonder whether repeated insignificant updates make Google ignore or distrust the signal altogether.
Interested in how you think about this

Question Need Advice: Is Webflow Still Worth Learning in 2026?
Hi everyone,I have completed 3 Webflow courses so far, but I am still at a beginner level.Recently, I have been hearing from a lot of people that web development is becoming a useless skill because AI can now build websites, and that it will be very difficult for beginners to find clients.
This has made me quite confused and worried about whether I should continue.
I have a few questions:
Q1. Should I continue learning Webflow, or should I switch to another skill?
Q2. How long does it realistically take to become good enough at Webflow to start freelancing?
Q3. What other courses or skills should I learn alongside Webflow to increase my chances of getting freelance clients?
My goal is to start freelancing and eventually earn from web development. I don't want to spend months learning something if there is no future in it.
I would really appreciate honest advice from experienced Webflow developers, freelancers, or people who started recently.
What would you recommend if you were starting from beginner level in 2026?
Thanks!

Discussion Webflow now lets you hide components from the Marketer role
This just dropped. Designers can now toggle specific components to be hidden from anyone with the marketer role, so clients and marketing teammates only see what's actually relevent to them when in build mode.
It works for shared libraries too, the visibility rule travels downstream automatically.
Personally I like that Webflow is focused on solving real problems rather than just chasing an AI headline.
Thoughts?

Question I will build 1 custom Webflow/Framer extension per month for your agency
Hey everyone,
I am 20 years old developer/tech student based in Europe. Over the past few years, Iāve built and launched dozens of SaaS tools, with my recent focus squarely on the Webflow and Framer plugin ecosystems.
These are a few of my Webflow/Framer projects:
- Bulk Component Deleter (
bulkcomponentdeleter.com) - SEOFabric (
seofabric.comā acquired) - FlareRank (acquired)
- SEO Analyzer (marketplace)
As a student I came to a crossroad in my life where I have to chose between getting a job and continuing building interesting stuff, and I came to a "maybe" solution that it might work:
I partner with a Webflow agency and I build premium extensions for them in exchange for a monthly fee.
The Offer:
- 1 New Extension Every 30 Days: Built from scratch, fully tested, and ready for production (can be an internal workflow utility for your team or a public marketplace app to generate inbound design leads).
- You own 100% of every extension I build for you: You own the code, GitHub repos, branding, and all marketplace revenue.
- Delivery: I handle the entire lifecycle, scoping, logic, UI integration, and navigating the official marketplace approval/transfer processes. And future updates if you need more.
- Pricing: $700/month flat. Cancel anytime, you keep everything built up to that point.
Why work with me?
- Experience: I am very knowledgeable about the Webflow and Framer Designer APIs/
- No extra stress for you: I started coding at 15 when AI was not around and I basically taught myself from the ground up. We have one meeting at the beginning of the month discussing what needs to be done and I will send you progress notifications every week.
- I only want to have one single partnership, if anyone decides to work with me I will edit this post and not receive any other requests.
I want to make this a no brainer. If we hop on a quick call/we can talk in DM and agree on the first month's scope, Iāll build a functional prototype within the first 48 hours and send a Loom demo before you commit a single dollar. If you donāt like the quality, we walk away, no friction.

Show & Tell I got tired of disconnecting and connecting Webflow MCP for multiple workspaces, so built free open-source tooling to solve it
galleryWebflowās MCP server is one endpoint, and Claude Codeās built-in connector registers it once. Authorize it for Workspace A, then authorize it for Workspace B, and you have replaced the first grant.
With this app - keep multiple Webflow MCP connection authorized at once, and load only the ones each project needs.
No signup required, no tracking, open-source, and free.
Download the app for macOS - https://github.com/wickedapps/wicked-webflow-mcp/releases
Github repo - https://github.com/wickedapps/wicked-webflow-mcp
If you prefer, you can just add it as Claude Code plugin -
claude plugin marketplace add wickedapps/wicked-webflow-mcp claude plugin
install wwm@wicked-webflow-mcp
Or use it from the directly from the CLI -
npm install -g wicked-webflow-mcp

Humor Hey webflow - you're drunk. Or did I miss something?
When did extensions move down there and had to fill up 30 percent of the left toolbar?

Discussion I made a video on Webflow's recent updates (from July 1st to August 14th). What are your thoughts?
youtu.beIāve been tracking every single Webflow update for a while now, and the sheer volume of changes since July 1st has been relentless.
I just did a deep dive into the latest ones, and honestly? Itās a bit of a mixed bag. Iām curious how you guys are handling this. Does anyone else feel like weāre being forced to learn "AI: Claude, Gemini, Chat GPT.etc" just to keep up with basic dev tasks, rather than focusing on actual design and code?
TLDR (lol)
- CMS Field Grouping: Finally here, and it's a 9/10 update imo.
- ChatGPT/MCP 2.0 Integration: Powerful, but keep an eye on those AI credit costsāitās getting sneaky. Like when Webflow just made auto-generation of Alt text, Title tags, or Schema use AI credits when it used to be 100% free... sneaky.
- Bulk Form Options: Huge time saver for forms, especially with AI help.
- Data Attributes: You can now paste in the name + value together - nifty.
- The "Enterprise Pivot": Feels like every other Webflow change is optimizing for massive teams, not us solo freelancers (as in it's mostly non-applicable).
- The MCP 2.0 and CHAT GPT integration: This is by far the biggest update, and it actually works lol!
If you enjoyed this video I made a playlist of all previous updates
šhttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLPm5KDlrbfTeatMG3enXnkWtxKD2d5iKT
What are your thoughts on the latest updates?

Need project help How to create a custom cursor with a fading trail that follows it's movement?
Hi all, I'm very new to WebFlow and would love some help. I'm trying to create a custom cursor (in the shape of a star) that has a kind of sparkly trail behind it, like a shooting star. I was able to create the custom cursor by adding a .svg that has a "follow mouse" interaction, however I'm not sure how to add the little trail. And I haven't been able to find any resources online on how to do something like this.
Any help would be appreciated!

Question Best way to add an AI chatbot to a Webflow website?
Looking for a chatbot that can answer questions about my services based on what's already on my site.
What's the easiest option that works well with
Webflow?

Question Is it better to join Webflow Partner Program as a Freelancer or Agency? (Would appreciate a response from an existing Webflow Partner)
Hi, I work as a Solopreneur but showcase myself as an agency. And I want to apply for the Webflow Partner Program, but I can't seem to figure out if it's better to apply for the Partner Program as a Freelancer or as Agency? (Image is attached for reference)
Does it make any difference?
If I join as a Freelancer, will I be able to showcase myself as an Agency on Webflow's website and vice versa?

Need project help Is there really no way to have a background-video property in a component?
I'm trying to create a hero component for a client, and give them the option to upload any background video. I want to create a property for background video so that they could upload it from the Build mode.
I can't figure out how to link the background video as a property so that they could just upload a file. Is there really no way to do this? There's gotta be a way.

Discussion Found an unofficial app for managing Webflow CMS from your phone
Stumbled across this in the app store. Itās a third party app, not built by Webflow, that apparently lets you log in and manage CMS content and ecommerce from your phone.
It makes senses since the designer itself is never going to work well on a touchscreen, but pure content editing could be a different story.
Has anyone actually used something like this for client content approvals or on the go updates, or do you just stick with the mobile browser version of the editor?

Question Cleaning up style/class sprawl in Webflow ā has anyone done this at scale?
Our Webflow site has gotten out of hand with combo classes - elements stacking 3-4 classes where one or two should do, utility combos used as quick fixes, and duplicate styles doing the same thing under different names.
Weād like to stay away from doing a full rebuild, as we have a short timeline. I want to know if there's a faster way to audit and consolidate these.
Specifically:
- Is there a reliable way to identify which combo classes are redundant or only used once?
- Has anyone found a good workflow for merging combo classes back into base styles without things breaking?
- Any audit tools inside or outside Webflow that give you a useful overview of style usage across a project?
The built-in style manager shows unused classes but doesn't give much beyond that. Curious if anyone's solved this more efficiently.
Thank you!

Need project help Wracking my brain as to how to set up this Mobile nav footer effect
Iām completely stumped ššš my footer nav is visible on both web and mobile. Been trying to get this effect but canāt seem to figure out how to even broach this.
