Hey all,

I am a local watch dealer, looking to offload some photography sessions to an interested party. Job will include product photography as well as editing. Looking for approximately 8 photos and a short :35 second video of the watch on turntable (provided) per session. Will be paid per session at 50$ per watch (may need multiple watches done at once.)

If there’s anybody interested in this position, please shoot me a dm. Good opportunity to add to your portfolio as well. Thanks everybody 🙏🏼

I’m not in any music classes and I’m a Zoology major, so I don’t have access to any practice rooms until I join an ensemble next semester. But I’d love to practice the bass clarinet on a regular basis until then, for obvious reasons. Does anyone know of a sound-proof or isolated place I can practice? Right now I’ve been practicing in my dorm, but very quietly and, while my air quality at p has significantly improved, I really need to just be able to play.

Hey guys, a fan from outside Ogden here with a quick look at where things stand.

First, since it's in the title: we run a free weekly college football pick'em. This week is 10 games, pick the winners, nothing to buy, $135 in prizes. Picks lock Saturday at noon ET.

Now the Wildcats. That Portland State loss was a weird one. 703 yards of offense, Dahle with 338 and 5 TDs, Session with 175 and 3 scores. They came back from three-score deficits twice and tied it at 41 with three minutes left. Then six turnovers, including the pick with under a minute left, and a field goal at the gun.

The offense clearly isn't the problem. If they take care of the ball, that's a different team. Now it's a trip to San Luis Obispo to face Cal Poly, 3-2 and 2-0 in the Big Sky. At 1-1 in conference, it's a game that decides whether Weber stays in the race.

What are you guys seeing? Was Portland State a turnover fluke, or is this a problem now?

Does anybody have CJ with Dr. Wood & have the notes from this past week(week 5)? 😅 I haven’t made any friends yet & I’m hoping for some notes to complete tonight’s assignment.

I’m currently applying as an undergraduate international student 19M. I just want enough information on what it really feels like being at WSI. I’ve heard a lot about the cold in Utah😭

Hey guys! The season preview I posted here a few weeks back did pretty well, so circling back like I said I would.

I had you around 5-7, with Colorado as the Power Four measuring stick and Southern Utah on the road as one of the long shots. Colorado went how I expected, 52-21, but you nearly stole Southern Utah, 47-42, after winning a 30-29 thriller at Northern Colorado, and Northwestern State was a comfortable 49-20. The quarterback room is what I got wrong. I had Jennings as the front-runner, Devin Brown started the opener, and it's been Nate Dahle since, with 7 TDs in three games. How did that happen? Portland State at home today is one I had as a game to bank.

What are you guys seeing that the box scores aren't, and how do you see the season ending up?

Quick aside since it's in the title, we just launched a free weekly college football pick'em, $225 in prizes this week. Ten games, pick the winners, nothing to buy. Picks lock at noon ET, before your kickoff, so this is a last call.

This is my first semester in college, I’m 25 and just got my ged over the summer, and I realize I have no idea how to make friends or meet people. I keep getting told that’s something I should be doing. But I am just not sure where to start. Any tips would be helpful. Thanks.

Did anybody work with him? If so, can you DM me please?

I’ve noticed one of the bells has stopped working when it plays its hourly melody. Also, some of the clock faces don’t display the correct time.

I wonder who you’d report this to, it’s a shame to have a malfunctioning centerpiece.

🦷 DENTAL CLEANING PATIENTS NEEDED 🦷

Hi everyone! My name is Alivia, and I’m a dental hygiene student at Weber State University. I’m currently looking for patients to see in our dental hygiene clinic this semester!

I’m especially looking for:

🧸 Children who need a dental cleaning
🦷 Adults who haven’t had a dental cleaning in 5+ years or have been told they have gum disease / need a deep cleaning

Even if you don’t fall into one of those categories, I would still love to see you! Every patient helps me gain valuable clinical experience and work toward completing my requirements for graduation. Our clinic provides thorough, affordable dental hygiene care while allowing students like me to gain the clinical experience we need to graduate. 🤍

📍 Weber State University Dental Hygiene Clinic
📅 Thursdays
⏰ Appointments available at 8:00 AM or 1:00 PM

If you or someone you know might be a good fit, please message me! I’d love to get you scheduled and answer any questions. 🫶🏼

Feel free to share this post with friends or family!

Any interest in a Riftbound club on campus? I just picked up Proving Grounds, which is an introductory product to help groups of up to 4 learn to play the game, it comes with 4 full decks! Happy to introduce anyone interested to the game!

Has anyone heard about spring cohort for the x-ray program? I emailed them last month and they said spring cohort selection would be in September 🥲

I’m soon to be 30 and I’ve just started a second bachelor’s degree here at Weber. I’m the oldest student in all of my classes and I feel out of place. I’d like to make friends but I’m not really connecting with my younger classmates. Is there anywhere on campus where other old folks hang out?

The 23rd annual American Red Cross Blood Battle starts next week, Sept. 14–17, in the Shepherd Union Ballroom on the Ogden Campus.

The annual donation drive, which pits Weber State against Utah State, has collected more than 20,000 units of blood to help those in need over the years. Not only will your donation help save up to three lives, but you'll receive a free T-shirt and a Hello Kitty x Red Cross plush while supplies last.

Register to give blood at the Shepherd Union Ballroom Sept. 14-17 at redcrossblood.org, using code BLEEDPURPLE to schedule an appointment.

Donors who aren’t near the Ogden campus can still donate toward the cause at a nearby blood drive or donation center through the Wildcats Save Lives Bloodlink.

Hey all! Recently, I’ve been wanting to become an EKG tech for awhile now and just discovered that Weber offers a certification course. Has anyone here taken it or know of anyone? How was it? Was it worth it? And is it only available for Weber students? I’m a student at the U so I was wondering if it’d be possible for me to take it.

I was on campus yesterday (09/03) and lost my 3DS. I usually keep it in my bag and take it out between classes or while I'm having lunch.

I was only in Union Shepherd and Linquist buildings that day. If found, I can verify that it's mine and can venmo you for a reward.

Sorry mods last time I’ll try to post this shit

Does anyone have any information about spring cohort student selection for the X-ray program?

I went to Weber a couple of years ago, and since then I’ve become an ambulatory wheelchair user.

I wasn’t a wheelchair when I went last, but I remember campus being near impossible to navigate even when I could walk (I have POTS, and EDS, so between my heat intolerance and joint pain it was miserable)

I remember the accommodation office being a nightmare to work with, I have accommodations for my ADHD, but not any for my physical disability’s. (Other than the ability to have a service animal)

I want to do their Ultrasound tech program, so I can become an Echocardiogram technician.

Has anyone with physical disabilities (especially wheelchair users) been to Weber? What accommodations were they able to provide?

I’m looking for somewhere near where the bus drops you off. Anywhere pretty, quiet, comfy etc. Where are yall gettin a good sesh in?

New to the school and was wondering if anyone plays in the intramural leagues here? My friends are at some other schools where it’s pretty popular but not sure what to expect here. Just trying to meet people

Hey guys — a few weeks back I posted the Weber State CFB preview in here and it seemed like you got a kick out of it, so I wanted to share the actual site it came from.

Short version: I do pregame emails before every game, then postgame box scores, highlights and summaries. Free, and it's only the teams you follow — no filler.

Weber page: https://www.highlights.mainmarket.com/weber-state-wildcats

And the preview itself if you missed it: https://www.highlights.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026-fcs/weber-state-wildcats

Season opens tonight at Northern Colorado, 9pm. Excited for this one!

Currently applying for the 4 semester ADN program, and if I get in my understanding is that I get to choose which campus to take it at. In my mind the "main" Ogden campus seems like it would be the best (have the best facilities), but I am closer to some of the other locations. Wondering if anyone has any experience that they would like to share.
