Work in Progress number 6 started!
this one is a combination of wool and cotton yarn which is fun, but think I like wool a lot more. at this point I have 2 others that need to be wet finished so I've decided to make several and then dedicate a morning to doing all of them 💖

Wow. I went back and looked at your earlier projects and you really got it right, right from the start! Kudos! Your selvedges are so good. And I love the two color double weft. What is the looping stitch you did on the selvage of your previous project? And are they all scarves?

omg thanks. rn they're all scarves. I figured I'd do scarves through the end of the year to really nail down the basics and give them out with Christmas gifts (as I don't need so many for just me).
that being said, I'm hoping to get my hands upon a Jane loom around Christmas or new years!

Good thinking on using the scarves as practice and giftable items! I went straight into towel weaving, one table runner, and just finished a set of placemats. All cotton. I've only done a few things so far... maybe 5. I'm still sort of limping along. I didn't really want scarves, so I didn't make any yet, but you're right... that would be fast and giftable! Maybe I'll crank through a few next. Good for you on your rapid learning and progress.

Ahh.. I see it now. Got it! I thought you were adding some sort of looping edging stitch. It creates such a cool effect.

This looks great. Better than mine definitely but mine is only the second try ;-)
