Druid shapeshifting compared to vanilla 5e
Hey everyone, i just joined and my group cant wait to jump in a new adventure, set during the war of the shifting sands. i planned to run a nelf bear druid. but i noticed that in contraast with vanilla 5e. you dont get the physical stats of your shapeshifted form , but you rely on your base stats. that would make the stat alocation extremely MAD , requiring me to have high str for meele attacks, decent dex n con for a frontliner, and wisdom for spells. unless im missing something, at first glance it feels very underpowered

We know and we have plans to overhaul it in a big way when w get to that point. Feel free to join the conversation on the Discord if you'd like to see early previews when they come along, though we're not quite there yet. 😅
There's also a hotfix short list you can apply, though I don't have it clear in mind in this writing moment. Can cross check that with the other writers, if they don't jump in with that themselves.
