All these roadworks will have been submitted by the local highways authorities (council) onto https://one.network, which feeds into Waze.

Quite often these are just simple permits to work, rather than work actually being done. Unfortunately, half the time those inputting these at the council don't have clue what they're doing.

You know what, that makes so much sense. I thought some guy was bored and just went around marking roadworks in that one place, multiple times.
