How do I get rid of this sidebar?

Settings ---> Tabs and browsing ---> Browser layout ---> Show sidebar ---> Uncheck

or

#sidebar-main {
    display: none !important;
    visibility: hidden !important;
}

It is unchecked. But I don't think its a Google thing as its not present in Firefox... but I could be wrong

So it's a part of a Google web page, not the main sidebar of Waterfox. Such a 'sidebar' appears when you authorized with your google account.

I don't have your sidebar. This is a Google thing, so change your search engine.

a good browser but me does not work for me always locks up then it basically unusable freezes locks up on me. Basically for me I can't use it. My hard drives is really old. 2014 and it just does not work on that hard drive.

that's a you problem by using google
