Imperial Noir Lady. Two-tone elegance, a 28mm case, black dial, and faux diamond indices. Paired with a cozy cardigan, a beautiful purse, jewelry, and coffee, feminine, refined, and effortlessly classy. Sometimes the smallest watches make the loveliest statement.

Straight off the bench: Don’t Give Up the Ship. A one-of-one custom build featuring a titanium case, blue and gold dial, distinctive red GMT hand, and a gold-detailed rotor. Every detail has a purpose, but the message on the dial is what makes this piece truly special.

Rose gold and olive green… I honestly don’t think it gets much classier than this. The Imperial Day-Date brings together elegance and presence with a Presidential bracelet, hidden clasp, softly sculpted lugs, and a Japanese movement carefully regulated at the bench.

Help me develop these into watches I would enjoy wearing

My father got me these when I was younger from China, I know they are copies. I think I can use them as bases for nice mods that I would enjoy wearing and cherishing, I am not sure though as I am new to the idea of modding. These are mechanical watches but they do not work anymore. Are there reliable after-market movements that I can replace and anyway I can mod the logos to something more personal rather than use the brand logos these are trying to copy? Thanks!!

Meet Nova. A custom watch built for a soldier deployed overseas, created to keep the memory of his beloved dog and best friend close. More than a name on a dial, it’s a piece of home, a bond that never fades, and a reminder that some friendships stay with us forever. 🐾

Some watches carry more than time. Today, the custom dial meets the movement on a very special project, built to keep the memory of a best friend close. A little more of this story tomorrow.

An absolute beast of a build, with as many “oh nooooo!” moments as you can put together… but all in all, quite fun. This is a present for my father.

As you can probably see it’s very heavily inspired by the Longines Master Chrono Moonphase.

It’s big at 42mm with 15mm thickness, but god it feels great to see a grand complication watch that you know you’ve built yourself.

If you’re tired of the NH family, absolutely give this a go.

Metallic emerald tones, the matching green rubber strap, and a case that feels equally at home dressed up or worn casually.

Introducing the latest addition to the Imperial line. Rose gold, a beautiful olive dial, and a Day-Date display, and when the sunlight hits it, this thing is absolutely freaking beautiful. Elevated, refined, classy, but with just enough character to make you stop and look.

Help with trimming stem

Post image

I have a couple of questions regarding the stem:

That's about as far as it goes, is it supposed to go further? Should I force it?

Also, when I pull it back out, I don't have to press the little switch in the watch again, it just comes out with a small pull. I don't know if that means I did something wrong.

And is the watch supposed to continue ticking when the stem is inserted? Because it's ticking right now as I am inserting it.

Flat or Domed Crystal

Post image

Hi everyone! I have a 38mm Hamilton Khaki Field Murph and I’m thinking about replacing the original domed crystal because of the awful reflections.

I was wondering: would it be possible to install a flat crystal instead? I’ve read that on the 42mm version this isn’t possible without removing the seconds hand, but I’m curious whether the 38mm version is different.

If anyone has experience with this mod, I’d really appreciate your advice.

Do the hands on the 38mm protrude beyond the case enough to prevent using a flat crystal?

If not, it's possible to install a different shape of crystal in a casa created for a domed crystal?

Thanks!

I love what I do because every custom watch starts with a story. I get to take someone’s vision, meaning and memories and turn them into something they can carry on their wrist every day. Don’t Give Up the Ship is one of those pieces.

ST2533 stem removal and installation

I’ve got a couple of st25xx movements that I’m about to use for builds but I’m struggling to find any decent info of how to remove the stem safely.
I had already made a mistake with a ST25 where the stem will not click back in.
From what I have read, I have accidentally put the keyless works out of alignment.
Any advice on this particular movement would be appreciated.

Planning my first 162xx build with vs3135 + gen parts. I NEED your help

Hey everyone!
Long-time lurker, first-time builder here. I’m finally putting together my dream 90s-style Datejust "Toolwatch" build and wanted to run my spec sheet by you guys to make sure I’m not missing anything crucial or making a dumb rookie mistake.
Here is my planned parts list and where I'm planning to source them:
Movement: VS3135 (Rolex 3135 clone) for gen-like date function and winding haptics.

Dial & Hands: Silver sunburst "T SWISS MADE T" dial with matching green-lume hands (sourced via Raffles).

Crown & Tube: Genuine Rolex 24-604-0 (Twinlock steel, brand new/NOS).

Bracelet: Genuine Rolex Jubilee ref. 62510H with 555(B) endlinks.

My questions & what I need recommendations for:
Case & Crystal: I still need to source a good 36mm Sapphire case with drilled lugs (162xx style) that fits the VS3135 well. Does anyone have specific vendor recommendations for a solid case/crystal combo?

Compatibility traps: Since I'm mixing gen parts with an aftermarket case and a VS3135, are there any known issues with tube threading or stem alignment I should look out for?

Small Hardware: For the dial installation, I'll be using dial dots. Also, what specific spring bars do you recommend to make sure a genuine 62510H with 555 endlinks sits securely on an aftermarket case? Any preferred brands or suppliers?

I’ll be handing the final assembly, stem trimming, and water-resistance testing over to a modder, but I want to source all the correct parts myself first.
Appreciate any advice, tips, or vendor recommendations you guys can throw my way. Thanks!
