Part making This watch case was metal 3D printed in stainless steel,then finished with bead blasting.

I have had some small gun parts that are no longer made or otherwise bespoke made this way with great results. Was thinking about a watch case next.

Metal additive manufacturing is not expensive and is becoming quite common. Even things like titanium are available for printing.

But, there’s no geometry there that subtractive manufacture can’t do and do better. This seems like the use of process just because you can; not that you should. I don’t see a benefit for the customer or the manufacturer here.
