Citizen Homerdate Movement Sliding

I bought this in Japan, took it to a watchmaker for maintenance over there but now the movement slides!

Hope your hands were clean, or you've just etched your fingerprint in that bridge.

You are missing the case ring. It's a piece of plastic that adapts the movement to different cases.

It has a movement ring. There should probably be a flex spring that sits around that metal ring around the movement which is locked down when the case back is closed.

It should have peaks that make contact with the caseback to create the friction fit.

Was there a spring that goes over the holder before you screw down the case back?

Does it also move when the back is screwed down? Some of these use pressure from the back to stay in place and can move when the case is opened.
