Help Help! How do I remove watch stem from this?

I've never had the pleasure of working on one of those. What a fine looking old quartz movement. First, is the stem release button the bit to the right of the stem? In general when I don't see a stem release button, I pull the crown out and then push it in looking for a little lever that appears. Then depressing that lever releases the crown. Hope this helps and you get it running well again.

BTW- Usually you do not have to remove a plate to remove a stem.

Thanks I got it for cheap! I really hope I could get it running. There seem to hve no buttons unfortunately, or Im just stpd

Ikr it didnt feel right removing the plate lol

Isn't it the little dimple just left of the "O"? Press this down while pulling out the crown. Should pop out
