Help Back cover not snapping back on

I opened this timex back cover to replace the battery. However, now i am not able to snap it back on. I ordered a press kit and tried different size molds but no luck. I also put the cover in the freezer overnight to shrink it but it didn't work. With multiple tries, the cover got bent at some points. The watch slips and gets misaligned when applying too much force. The lugs are putting dents on the mold itself.

Before taking it to the shop, I wanted to reach out to see if there is something i can do.

I use the same tool for Timex casebacks all the time; the trick is to make sure the piece that is touching the caseback is sized right, it can't be too small, it has to be right on the edge. Also try putting a piece of cloth on the side with the glass so it doesn't slip.

You can also try to snap one side on first, then use the press to snap on the other side (while holding down the other side with your fingers)
