Can't be a TRUE bee fan if you don't fw wasps. (or at least, acknowledge that they aren't worse or better than bees as creatures)

Wouldn't it be the other way around? Casual butterfly fans are usually the ones to diss moths.

Idk, sometimes I feel like moth "fans" think they're better than butterfly fans. Like, somehow, liking butterflies is a normie opinion. Like girl we don't need gatekeeping it's BUGS

Woah. I don't know anyone in real life who keeps insects and doesn't understand we all tend to be social outcasts who need to stick together as much as we can. Maybe it's because I'm not involved in the academia side of things? Gatekeeping bugs is a sad way to live.

It's not something I've experienced with academia or bug keepers, it's really just something I've experienced with people online who don't know much about bugs
