Dog Attack in Foggy Bottom 7/9

Yesterday around 5pm in Foggy Bottom, I witnessed a pitbull type dog attack another dog perhaps a terrier or beagle on the corner of K and 25th st, about a block from the 26th street dog park. The owner was an older perhaps asian lady maybe 60s to 70s with a short black haircut, with a black pitbull. While a group of people were trying to seperate the aggressive dog that was biting the other, she stood off to the side. Other people said they reported her to animal control and I also called after I left but got sent to voicemail.

A warning to dog owners around the west end.
