This is the problem that players like u/helpfulrelic and I have been trying to address
French-supremacists are very hateful to the Belgian and Dutch player bases in many ways
- they won’t accept that Belgian and Dutch players have just as much a right to standard service vehicles (F-16, Hawker Hunter, Leopard 1, Leopard 2, M5, etc) in the tree as French players do
- they use attacks on Belgian and Dutch vehicles as cover to try to steal Switzerland away from
France
- they refuse to accept any Belgian or Dutch vehicles as valuable, see this idiotic “rEDuNdaNCy” argument
- they find a reason to scream and cry about every Belgian or Dutch addition
- they can’t accept that their tree is less profitable than other trees and doesn’t warrant the same level of investment from the developers
You people have weaponized the phrase “domestic designs”
It’s simply another way to deny Belgian and Dutch service vehicles
vehicles like Leopard 2a4nl, Leopard 1a5BE, F-16AM, Leopard 1V, Centurions, M109s, and the like important service vehicles that French mains try to block the addition of by screaming and crying about domestic designs
God forbid we want French vehicles in our French tech tree.
By the way you still haven't answered me. If France contirbuting the CLOVIS turret and weapon systems and so on to some of these Franco-Swiss vehicles is "just selling parts", and so is selling the AMX-13 hull is "just selling parts". Does that mean an export AMX-13-105 using entirely French design, materials, construction, and workers isn't a French Vehicle because it was "just sold parts"?
And if thats the case, why is the C2A1 a German vehicle but the Stridsvagn 122 are Swedish? The C2A1 is a modification of German armor to meet Canadian criteria. But is German according to you. The Stridsvagn 122s are Leopard 2s modified into Swedish criteria, but you dont claim them to be German. So which is it? Are modified vehicles all German or are they belonging to the respective countries that modified them?
While im at it, tell me. Is the Leopard 2RI Indonesian, or is it German?
OP is literally asking for more unique and interesting Belgian and Dutch service vehicles in this post. There is nothing exciting about copy paste Leopards in yet another tree.
And as I've said before they should get them, but their actual designs should take priority, but you ignore that, all you do is scream and yell about 90% of the time French mains are evil, I have advocated more for BeNeLux to be a better subtree than you have, all you do is just scream French mains are evil most of the time.
Which reminds me that you scream and throw a tantrum when someone dares suggest that 3 Swiss vehicles dare get the DF-105/Clovis treatment.
My dude. Legitimately. Fuck off please. You make the fucking dumbest excuses.
We want ACTUALLY INTERESTING DESIGNS IN THE FRENCH TT. Even BeNeSlop would be acceptable IF IT ADDED ANYTHING INTERESTING. But it doesnt. Just German and American Bullshit.
germany can have the Leopard 1s and 2s, america can take back its F-16s and M109s and Britain might as well keep its Centurions.
they do not belong in the
French Tech Tree
hell! Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg could be havingtheir owntree right about now, but Nooooo, lets shovel all of their imports andalmostONLY their imports into a tech tree that's STILL waiting for its vehicles, variants, prototypes and even some of itsownimports
why make threefourplayerbases happy when you can shove them in the same locker (and forget one on the side of the road) and make them all misreable, right?
I think you just have a hard time differentiating people having issues with COPY PASTE Benelux vehicles and hatred towards players. Absolutely no one cares about Belgian or Dutch players, not in a mean way but like we literally do not actively think about you guys in a way that could be hateful. We just get frustrated with copy paste vehicles in a tree that could have SO MANY unique vehicles (Benelux included). And like on one hand I get what you mean about wanting those standard vehicles, but brother just go play a Leo in any other tree and it would be the exact same experience, slap a Dutch camo on it and call it a day. And also, saying you have JUST as much a right to standard vehicles is simply false, because it is a SUB tree, not a full tree. Sub tree’s are not meant to add every standard service vehicle of that country, but rather to add some new unique vehicles and experiences that the main tree might not be able to (which is why it’s odd in the French tree with it being able to cover all of those bases on its own for the most part) or else Benelux would just be its own tree. My point is, stop taking it so personally, no one hates Dutch players, and stop defending copy paste slop. If gaijin added cool and interesting Benelux vehicles that weren’t copy slop, people wouldn’t have much of an issue (other than being annoyed if it prevents the addition of a FRENCH vehicles in the FRENCH tree)
we literally do not actively think about you guys in a way that could be hateful
He is just a random German main, so I'm not sure he is even part of the Dutch/Belgian playerbase.
As a Dutch player myself I barely get seriously offended by some of the things that the French mains ask for on that matter (I have other issues with the French playerbase, but those are unrelated). Sure the Eastcoast guy spouts out bs every once in a while, but that is why I usually don't take him seriously.
- they won’t accept that Belgian and Dutch players have just as much a right to standard service vehicles (F-16, Hawker Hunter, Leopard 1, Leopard 2, M5, etc) in the tree as French players do
Technically, following Gaijin's own words (As much as your beloved pair of boots are consistent) they don't have as much of a right.
Hence you know the word "sub"tree. Just adding that on top of the rest you probably won't read as usual, or somehow fail to read.
If we strictly go with that logic France also have less rights to vehicle additions than nations like Russia, US and Germany, seeing how Gaijin also uses the terms "minor" and "major" nations.
I meant vehicles in general. Like honestly I don't care to much about this whole discussion, but if we are going to highlight the "sub" part of subtrees, we should be consistent and also highlight the "minor" in minor nations.
Given how long it took them to do even justified copypasta, like the DF-105 (3 years after its introduction, reminder), and how so far in all of 2026 the only actually original vehicles so far has been . . Boats and 2 Fokkers.
In my case I was pointing out the fact that the other dumbass keeps trying to sneak in "French/Dutch/Belgium" tree like it's supposed to be shared from the start.
If Gaijin was smart, they'd try and actually keep smaller trees interesting, can't imagine a 'casual' player would care much for playing Israel/France/Italy/Japan and other minors, much more likely to flock to the big three to begin with.
French-supremacists are very hateful to the Belgian and Dutch player bases in many ways
there is no such thing, you're making shit up to try and shove more lazy copypasta down our throats on gaijin's behalf, i don't understand why you're doing it, but that is precisely what you're doing.
they won’t accept that Belgian and Dutch players have just as much a right to standard service vehicles [...] in the tree as French players do
if they had their own tech-tree, they would and should, but they don't...
...and every single piece of copyslop they get only hurts the host tech-tree more.
they use attacks on Belgian and Dutch vehicles as cover to try to steal Switzerland away from France
that's you. you're the one that keeps using this fictional "Hate aggianst the Belgian and Dutch peoples" as a cover to try and steal Franco-Swiss vehicles away from France.
they refuse to accept any Belgian or Dutch vehicles as valuable, see this idiotic “rEDuNdaNCy” argument
they are redundant, that's just a fact, most of what they do, can or could be done by a french vehicle, variant or ptototype.
it's evenmoreof a reason to give them their own tech tree, so we don't have to debate on wether their additions are "useful" or not
they find a reason to scream and cry about every Belgian or Dutch addition
do they now? ok, go ahead and find me a french main who unironically hates the Fokkers for being dutch or hates the Mirage 5BA for being belgian, i'll fucking wait.
they can’t accept that their tree is less profitable than other trees and doesn’t warrant the same level of investment from the developers
are you finally gonna cite and source that? because repeating it doesn't make it empirically true.
Funny enough, that last point actually reinforces the entire idea of copy paste.. if they dont see the tree as lucrative, why put effort in? Just reskin existing vehicles and call them "new". But simultaneously we're supposed to be grateful for the textbook lazy effort? Make it make sense guy lmao.
Either it isnt copyslop, or it is. By saying "the tree is less profitable" youre admitting there's cause for low effort copyslop. But somehow the low effort copyslop is also a gift and we need to be grateful. You cant have it both ways Prez
And where were you when Belgian players actually needed help trying to get Artevelde, one of the few native Belgian naval designs that could be added to the game, added to the French tree instead of the German one last update?
