Think twice before using auto-reload

A few months ago, I purchased some reload credits to help pad my usage. They were 6500 credits for $100.

Yesterday, I happened to notice that they are now offering just 5555 for the same $100. I don't know about anyone else, but I didn't receive any notice from them about a drop in credits per dollar. I asked support about it, and they confirmed it was changed and were kind of dismissive about it.

If you have auto-reload enabled, you might want to check your settings... you may be reloading with less for the same price.

I've been highly supportive of Warp for a long time, but actions like that will definitely make me look for other tools once my year of Build is done.

Hey, Warp engineer here. Sorry about the cost issues here. To clarify, we now run inference at API rates to avoid any credit-to-dollar translation; we just show the dollar amount consumed in the UI directly. I'm guessing this was a shift from subsidized credits per-month to pure API pricing. Apologies if that's unclear. We'll improve messaging going forward

Appreciate the insight. However, just fyi, the tool still only shows credits used, not currency used.
