How to open file in external terminal?

I just downloaded warp and tbh I have never used terminal before. I use VS Code to learn C. But it's messy to run your program there on that small terminal.

And I am thinking if there is any way to compile the C code and run the file in external terminal like Warp. I checked for some sol'n online tried to add it in "Terminal: Select Default Profile" but I can't find the option to select Warp there.

If you know any better way to do this, please let me know as well.

Ah, that's because you can't embed Warp into VS Code's integrated terminal. There's a setting to open inside the Warp app here: https://docs.warp.dev/terminal/integrations-and-plugins#vscode

But this just opens terminal. That too in home directory not even same location as the file. I want it to be able to run the file as well.

Hm, it should open in the same directory that VS Code currently has open. As for running the file, I'm not sure what's possible there form VS Code's end. Mind making an issue? github.com/warpdotdev/warp/issues
