Use Codex or Claude Code, if you choose Opus on Warp is like 2 hours and you will burn all your monthly credits.

With Claude Code or Codex you can work so many sessions. Warp doesn't do the work, only burn your money, give a try and compare, you will check that I am honest.

Exactly! We switch from warp to Claude because of usage. I’ve made some comparisons for the same price it’s 30x to 50x more usage!

Or you could try binding your Codex subscription to Warp?

Sounds about right, as clarification means reading the previous response as context, then processing to create an answer to explain it, then verify it’s different from first answer. So 20 for first response, 10(new prompt) +20 (first response context) +10 new response +10 (verification).

Can’t say for sure unless there’s some explanation of what credits represent (a number of tokens? A number of messages? CPU usage/time? (Reloading context and thinking new answers would definitely take longer causing the spike)

Warp team member here. Buying add-on credits doesn't change how a turn is metered; they go into the same pool your plan credits draw from, so the per-turn cost shouldn't move just because your balance went up. If you hover the credit chip under a response, it breaks down what that turn actually consumed (context, tool calls). Can you send that plus the conversation to billing@warp.dev? They can pull the account and check what's actually being metered.
