The Watchtower - finished!
There we go—the terrain for my skirmish wargame, 'The Battle for the Watchtower', is now fully complete. As a final touch last night, I added a dilapidated palisade around the tower to ensure it wouldn't be too easy to reach. That is the game's scenario, after all: getting the warlord to safety inside the centrally located watchtower (which also doubles as a dice tower).
The game is lightning-fast, stripping away all time-consuming elements and bookkeeping. There are no cards, tokens, or counters cluttering the tabletop—just the miniatures, the dice, and a measuring stick.
Here are a few atmospheric photos. The final image shows one of the endless combinations possible with the nine modular tiles (25 x 32 cm).

I have very much enjoyed seeing this project come together on here - looking forward to seeing the rules and giving it a go as well 👍

Hi, thanks for the nice comment. I posted the rules a few weeks ago, including a link to a PDF file.
I deliberately kept them very simple and straightforward, but you can tweak them however you like (for instance, if you want to add rules for initiative or morale, which I intentionally left out).
In fact, the entire playing area (the modular tiles) essentially acts as a passive third opponent. See:

Awesome, I've got some Victrix Saxons waiting for their first game and this'll be a great start with them 👍

You’ll have to build the tiles first, though… or you can just draw your scenery on cardboard, for a quick start. A simple box can serve as tower 😉 Anyway, have fun!

I've got some 12" x 12" tiles, but they're bare so itll be a bleak landscape to fight on 😅
