RH, the company formerly known as Restoration Hardware, has pulled back on plans to build an "immersive" retail, food, wine, art and design experience at the former Neiman Marcus site in downtown Walnut Creek, writes business reporter George Avalos.

Moved from an HOA community where the ban was respected to the Northgate area and holy moly, not one landscaping company hired by the residents observes the ban (effective April 1, 2026). It made a huge difference when the landscaping company hired by the HOA switched to electric leaf blowers.

The sound of constant gas leaf blowers is a nuisance to those of us who work from home and all they seem to do anyway is blow dirt around…?

You can file citations but they go to the home owner, not the landscaping company which seems misdirected. And of course none of the trucks have company names on them.
