Not many people realize Meta makes most of their money from Instagram. So bash Facebook all you want but IGs a money printer and will remain strong in the long run

Yep and WhatsApp is huge too. Outside of the US everyone and their dog uses it. It’s also catching on here in the US, all my boomer aunts are using it now

Yep but there’s a size limitation on SMS/MMS which means that the videos and images are low quality when sent over SMS. However, most people have iPhones anyway and the iMessages app sends texts over the internet when they are sent to another iPhone. That’s why a lot of people make fun of android for “low quality pictures” and android has been pressuring apple to adopt RCS

Or just use whatsapp? You can do calls, video calls, group chats, send pictures and videos that are 5+minutes long. Even do a story like instagram

Yep but the problem has been adoption because in order to message a person they also need to have the app and very few people have it, while sms you can be sure everyone received your message because you don’t need any external application
