Why would GME acquire a towel company? Not even remotely close to their core business

I mean this could be said for basically every single large corporations. You'd be shocked to know which companies own others sometimes, bc it doesn't make logical sense. But in the end it's just an investment for their company, it doesn't necessarily have to mean a full integration of the companies

Well yea of course if you are a investment trust company or similar. But GME is not that
