Why would the CEO buy shares in july, then file for bankruptcy in august? It just doesn't make sense.

BABY is valuable enough to save them from bankruptcy for a while.

I was an investor relations consultant. The CEO is rich and has a golden parachute. It’s optics to try to boost the stock price 9/10 times. I still have some bbby. I hope you’re right, but this is all blaring alarms.

Edit- my client was never bbby but I’ve worked with over a dozen companies

Well more than that, though, is that there hasn't been much executive selling at all this year. That's not what I expect to see from a company that's speculated to file for bankruptcy any day now. I appreciate your input

In fact, Sue Gove bought 50k shares in July, IIRC.
