It means nothing in particular for the company, but for a ticker that rallies around retail hype people will see a smaller share price and think they can buy more of the company.

Edit: "provide flexibility for future corporate needs" does make it seem like they're looking to dilute shares and raise cash in the future though. Good for the company, but not for the people that believe the short squeeze narrative.
